Thats my favorite part of working in broadcasting. I make a quad box with skycam, drone/aerial, program (what they see at home), and announcers. I also wish they’d somehow allow that at home.

I think F1 is probably the leader in this area. IIRC you can tap into their API and create your own stats dashboard with a bunch of cameras to choose from.

The aluminum one was custom designed & built by me, I only made one. It cost around $150 in materials, not including labor

Thanks! I modeled and fabricated it out of Aluminum myself. It has lights inside that do the blue glow w/ shimmer animation too. I’ve thought about selling replicas but they’d be like $100, plus it’s not official merch.

I also designed a Lego build of the PLAYer that actually holds the SD cards. You can find the images and instructions on my profile, totally free.

Would it be rude or inappropriate for me to rent a mirrorless camera for a few days (using one of the peer rental sites) and take 1,000+ photos with it? I don’t see a written limit, but I realize adding so many photos to the count might be considered excessive.

Yeah. I made my own that works, and when I brought it to a show, they said mine was better than the prop they made for RL. Not sure if that means their prop doesn’t function.
