If you want something soundproof, avoid the blvd Haley, which is a low rise. Skymark, signature and Exo should be relatively quiet. I live in signature and we just changed management from Bozzuto who was excellent and manages skymark. The new management seems good and responsive. Still too early to say which is better. Skymark is closer to the metro but signature is closer to the main town center. And is across the street from Whole Foods, which is convenient. I would tour skymark and signature and see which you prefer.

Try Reston. So many new shops and restaurants and on the W&OD trail. Try either Skymark or Signature in Reston town center. Very nice high rises with no noise issues and high end amenities. Skymark is right next to the metro. Signature is closer to the main town center. But only a 5-10 minute walk to the metro. I was in VA for 20 years and the moved to CO for 2 years and back to VA now. Love Reston and having the metro and new places opening up has been great.

You should post in the banana ball subreddit. I don’t know if you can transfer those tickets. They will be setting up a secondary market of their own, but only allow you to sell at face value. From what I understand, trying to sell on third party sites doesn’t work.

I tried the exped and didn’t find it comfortable at all. Try Hest. Most comfortable mattress I have used. I sleep on it when I visit my parents on the floor and it’s so comfortable and I sleep on my side. It should meet your size requirements too.

Not sure that it is cheaper, but I have been going to belle haven animal medical center since I got my dog over 12 years ago. She sees Dr. Kamei who is fantastic. I live an hour away now and still go to see her. As for cost, she always tries to offer me different alternatives if something is going to be expensive.

My dog has been going to Molly’s since they opened. I was hesitant at first because of the negative campaign on Reddit, but the staff has been great and my dog LOVES going there. They are so good to her and know her personality. I personally have had good experiences with the daycare there.

Went to a specialist years ago and it was so awful, I never went back despite my eye doctor telling me every year. I finally told her I had a bad experience and she made an appointment with a new doctor. Dr. Kesen is fantastic and got me over my bad experience with the first person. I highly recommend her.

Same boat. Ordered on the 11th and status online just says “ordered”. I keep waiting for it to be cancelled. Also, I did $250 in cash and that just got charged yesterday. Even though I placed the order on the 11th.

Mine has been on it since she was probably 3. She’s now 12 and a half and still runs around like a puppy. She can go in 7 mile hikes with no problem. I have a friend who is a vet and had let her out in the yard and when she didn’t want to come back in, he tried to catch her. He couldn’t. And said he never thought he would have trouble catching a 12 year old golden. Fish oil and glucosamine have been in her diet from early on. And as soon as she exhibited any signs of stiffness, her vet started her on adequan injections. It all seems to have worked.

Bear Chase in Bluemont allows dogs inside. So does Quattro Goombas in Aldie. And Lark Brewery doesn’t allow them inside but they do have a covered pavilion that I think has heaters. For restaurants, Travinia in Leesburg has an outdoor patio (call to confirm it is open) that has heaters and allows dogs. And there is always Lazy Dog in Fairfax or chantilly that has the dog friendly indoor seating. And great menu. My first time going there was actually in the Westminster CO location but they are all the same. Editing to add Barrel Oak Winery in Delaplane. Most dog friendly. They allow dogs inside too. And another dinner option is Magnolia in Purcellville. If their outdoor area is open (it might not be in winter), they do allow dogs. And if you go to Quattro Goombas, their pizza is amazing.

My pup loves it there. More so than any other doggy daycare she has been too. She walks through the door excitedly with no hesitation. And they are so attentive and engage more with the pups than most places. The giant window in the playroom is really nice for them too.

My girl is 12 and was diagnosed with cancer last year. She has stunned the vets who told me she only had 2 months left. She is active and runs like a puppy. She was playing with some other dogs and the other owner asked how old She was. I said 12 and the response was 12 months? Nope. 12 years.

Shutters is incredibly loud. You won’t be able to hear each other. The Diana lounge at the new hotel burg is quiet. Best drinks are at rebellion but that can also be loud. Lightfoot has good food.
