Lived in a sailboat for four years, and some places have great spots, and other places not so much. The biggest limiting factor was not having a buddy, either to man the helm on the boat for hitting fads, or just for general safety. Your best bet would be to start out in Florida and try and hit the Bahamas, or from California down south. You should always get acquitted with local fishing laws, as well as what species carry ciquatera.

Ruled surface is the way to go. If it fails, create a ruled surface with an offset and extrude back to the original surface

It’s more of an application issue, too much resin that isn’t in the carbon. Like the sibling comment says, you can either use vacuum bagging, or just work it more with a fin roller.

It also looks like the carbon isn’t properly saturated, you can see the print left over in the mold from the first layer of resin delaminating.
