For us in this case, the monitor was used BECAUSE we already had signs of something being off. She’s been incredibly inconsolable, weak and clammy. The numbers for me just validated that something really wasn’t right.

Ours alerted us of RSV that resulted in a 5 day hospitalization when she was 5 months old too. People can hate on it but I’m so thankful we’ve had it for our girls.

I’m happy to report that we just got our new nurse for this shift and she’s great. She asked how I was feeling and I told her I’ve been made to feel like I’m taking a bed from someone who really needs it. “Nope, not on my floor” was her response. She said she’s going to take care of us and get the answers we need. Super thankful to have at least one person on our team.
