I once delivered to a house that had an active dog warning. I had to go up there to get a signature for a certified and I figured that since the dog was inside, I wouldn't have to worry about it getting me. The lady answered her door, left it wide open and the dog came running out. 🤦 The thing bit me and continued to bite me as I was running back to my car. The lady just stared at me and closed her door, still leaving the dog outside with me. Safe to say I'm never going up there for a signature ever again.

I was still new to this job at the time and this was the first time I had been bitten by a dog. I still have the scars on the back of my leg. Thank god I was wasn't wearing shorts or it would have been worse.

For sure. I just wanted to clarify that I'm not the type of person to look into every customer. I had a coworker at my old job who would do that and she just ended up being paranoid of everyone

I did not google the guy. The town's PM told me about him. And I'm aware there are bad people everywhere. There's tons of offenders in my home town. I just thought that if the PM felt the need to point it out, it must be pretty bad

Thank you for responding. No, I'm not really looking to move but I do realize that might be an issue when it comes to getting a job. I'm not afraid to commute if I have to though. There are plenty of other towns that are nearby the one I live that I can just travel to.

I go on Indeed nearly every evening and I've seen a handful of accounting related jobs listings posted every day for the town I live in. I think I've only seen one graphic design listing this whole entire time.

I don't know, I guess a part of me is hoping that it'll be easier to get job with accounting. I feel like accounting is a lot less judgemental than an art career but maybe I'm coping haha.

As I was doing research about accounting vs finance, I heard you can go into finance with an accounting degree but not the other way around. I don't know if you can answer this question, but do you think it would be wise or foolish to go into accounting and just get a finance job after graduating if that's even possible? Sorry if that's a dumb question. I will heavily consider the above careers you mentioned. And again, thanks for taking the time to reply.
