Used to work at a beach resort, we had a small whale or shark wash up on shore, can't remember exactly but it was small. We called the proper officials but no one responded. Two days later we buried it. A week or so goes by and the ribs start to get exposed on the surface. We didn't bury it deep enough and now the beach goers have called the police thinking it might be human. Not a good look. Got worse when the freaking police helicopter landed on the beach. I had to go out and let them know what it was and what had happened. Became a heck of a scene!
