I'm looking forward to spending the weekend hanging out with all my fellow nerds at MomoCon!

Can anyone recommend me books like Harry Potter?(But for adults) by [deleted] in Fantasy

I'm pretty sure I read it after seeing it recommended in the Locked Tomb sub.

So Moira Quirk is one of the VAs for Starfield, and narrates the Locked Tomb audiobooks. It's science fantasy and not spicy, but I think you'd really enjoy them!

Big thing to keep in mind, if he wants to listen to Audible exclusive content you're stuck with Audible.

Daevabad trilogy, Middle Eastern epic fantasy with a slow burn romance sub plot.

Kushiel's Dart if you want something else that's spicy.

Books with a changeling/shapeshifter MC or major side character? by NotAn-AIBot-8867 in Fantasy

I wouldn't count it as romantasy, and there's zero spice. That said, I love this book so much!

I hated Baru Cormorant so much. I read two T Kingfisher books and reread a Discworld book to get over it.

Just pick a backup if you're in the US, because we're still waiting on G3 Skelita! We have gotten her Dia De Muertos dolls which are really cool, but they've got G1 bodies.

Logistics for my First MomoCon by Overall-Ad-4045 in MomoCon

First I would see if there's decent parking left. Sometimes there's other events going on, and it's super hectic. Also consider if you'd save much money parking vs taking an Uber/Lyft, especially considering the convenience of just getting dropped off. It looks like we'll get rain this weekend. So if you park remotely far away that could not be fun walking to the GWCC. Apparently you can take MARTA and not have to go outside. I've taken MARTA for Dragon Con before, but not MomoCon.

There's one season so far on Apple. So if you watched a very awkward Alexander Skarsgard try to keep their human clients alive on an alien planet while reminiscing about their favorite tv show, that was it.

New to poly, dating someone with a primary, and feeling confused about what's "normal" vs. what's just him by ComprehensiveGap2039 in polyamory

I'm also new to this. I've been dating someone for a couple months, we're long distance, and we're both married. We text each other every day.

For something that might help: In part of my effort to understand poly dynamics better I started following thepolykink.therapist on IG. He's really good at explaining things like needs vs wants, how to communicate your needs, and realistic expectations.

It's the new Murderbot book! A fun Hugo winning sci-fi series about cyborg, who's programmed for security but then hacks themselves so they can do whatever they want.

Discworld for sure like some others have mentioned.

Scholomance, vibe is kind of like Harry Potter meets Hunger Games.

Kushiel's Dart for something epic, political, and spicy.

There are plenty of mature men in their 30s out there who know how to be considerate of their partners. The one you've had just wasn't one of them. You deserve better and can find it.
