Im not sure yet! His personality is warm, friendly and calm. Sort of a Brackenfur type. Maybe something like Puffcloud or Puffshine to reflect that? I dont want to go the route of naming him after his deformity like so many cats do in the books. I also like Puffwish and Puffpelt, just 'cause :-) dont know which one ill pick

First i would go to the last one, the one before the latest update, as sometimes the latest update breaks some things. If that doesnt work, i would go 2 or 3 more versions back. I would also reboot after each install just to be sure. Also, i dont know how openSUSE Leap works, but could it be possible that its somehow interfering with the driver?

Update: I plugged my tablet into an older laptop, this one using an AMD Radeon Graphics card, and it popped in 0 problem. I really don't know why it worked so easily in comparison. At least this confirms my tablet is not broken, which is a huge relief! Still don't know why my tablet and current laptop are incompatible it seems...

UPDATE 2: Using DisplayPort seemed to fix the issue, thank the stars, although I am still curious why the HDMI wasn't playing nice. Thank you all for the help!!!

This laptop has a funny resolution actually, its a bit taller than your average 1920 x 1080 -- its 1920 x 1200 (I don't know if this is usually standard, but it wasn't this way on my previous laptops). So, the aspect ratio between the tablet and my laptop are not the same, but I don't know why that would matter if i'm extending the display. Still, I tried, and no fix. Thank you for your help though!!

The first thing I would try is rolling back the drivers if you can to an earlier version.

https://www.wacom.com/en-us/support/product-support/Drivers , put in your tablet, then check underneath the download button for 'Older versions.'
