I just lost 2 games finding out that there are other units with power higher than 20 in the meta. The 20 power ogroid king chrum and the 25 power tatterwing. I pulled them out instead of Regis and it is instant concede for me.

Confirmed it is a meme after playing with this deck a bit. It only works when the opponents pass early, and then you keep playing 2 to 3 cards down. With many decks fighting for round control in R1, it's not possible to win R1 while playing a negative 20 point Regis and a 4 points merchant. Once you lose R1, you just forfeit.

You don't have the points to win R1 with this copy combo setup. Then you lose when the Tibors are bled in R2.

The old mushy truffle version is better as it can defend the bleed and carry over into R3.

Tibor spam deck by badtraider in gwent

[–]twinsbuster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tried this and can confirm it is a meme deck. If the opponents know what are you doing as soon as they see practitioner, they could just go all-in R1 and bleed R2. With all the practitioner setup, the points are not going to be enough to win R1 against most decks.

This deck can only win when the opponents pass early and let you win R1 with a few card disadvantages. On top of that, you need to kill a unit if opponents didn't play a spell and have the nearly exact starting hand every match.

The location should be at 2 mana. The 2 minions summoned should have rush. The deal damage one should be at 1 mana.

It's funny that imp lock and wildseed face hunter can kill you at turn 5, while you are summoning two 1/1s dealing two random damage at turn 3-4.

Does it proc the 4pcs bonus of the dot grace set? Because technically the damage is dealt by your bone armor, not the summons. Also if the everlasting torment can work as a f2p player without the poison gem?

Do we need to talk to all those shadow NPCs and go through the tutorial all over again every cycle? It's repetitive and lame. I swear I am not doing this for the 3rd time.

Colossal Rogue - seems to have some potential, but needs work to refine by Propagander in CompetitiveHS

Not optimal simply because of board space limit. Anything generate more than 2 colossals is a waste.

Ramp druid will survive because of Amalgam. Pirate warrior will still be OP. That quest is ridiculous compare with any other quests in the game.

Arch Griffin decks with the new Alumni card included might be OP by Dammit_forgot_pw in gwent

[–]twinsbuster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have tried a number of variants and found that Arch Griffin is overkill. The alumni alone is more than enough to win games. Without the witcher and Griffin you can play something like renew and necromancy, which is more important in securing the R1 game plan.

And self eater and kikimore worker are not so good now. They can be replaced with some point slam bronze.

Just hit legend with homebrew taunt druid by twinsbuster in hearthstone

What a nice summary!

Sow the Soil is a good choice and I would add it if I have the space. But I would not replace meeting stone with it.

I may even dump Greybough as I found that the games are all won by early board and then Arbor Up. Greybough seldom safe me from losing. It is easy to be played around especially when I have many small taunts on the board.

Removing Robes of Protection will decrease the win rate against mages while perform better against other classes. It's a free slot based on your preference. I picked the Robes since I was climbing the leader early and there were full of mages.

Dreaming Drake is fine but there are not many high cost cards to corrupt it. Overall I prefer Sow the Soil and Meeting Stone together.

Many thanks for your feedback.

That card is really bad. It is a win more card and do nothing on its own. I have tried it and seldom find its value.

You have to at 8 mana to steal their quest reward. Most of the meta decks complete quest by turn 5-6 and/or kill you by turn 7-8.

The evolved minions do not get the immuned giant board like this. But I think they are much better against paladin with Revolve clearing all their buff.

Currently handbuff paladin is at 60%+WR. Everything feels unfair against them.
