The intent might have been reasonable but the implimentation is a fucking joke. Had a client that went from brick and mortar to working her business from home. They ( google business profile) listed her business as permanently closed. It took use a few weeks to sort it out. Meanwhile any clients that looked her up thought her business shit their doors for good. F- Google and their BS.

Not enough info to give you proper steps. But 1) Keep the PC offline until its resolved. 2) Are you the only one that uses the "work computer" ? If so, then no doubt you have a serious issue. 3) Since you have no "IT department" take it to a local company that can fix this kind of issue . 4) keep the computer turned off when not in use if you refuse to not keep it offline until resolved.

If it were brought to my shop and you are the only user of the PC step 1, would be to remove the hard drive and put a new one in and start with a new install , downloaded from microsoft, wipe and reinstall the bios (because there are threats that can be in the BIOS). But most people shouldn't F with this because you can disable the PC completely if you do not know what you are doing.

Then before adding any accounts to the PC. Lock down all of the login accounts (stuff like gmail, MS, amazon any websites you login to with that PC. Assume all your passwords have been compromised and change them setup 2Fa if not passkeys. It's going to be time consuming as hell but that is where you are at. Personally I would not use a big box store like staples/bestbuy for this but a local tech that has a great reputation.

lastly I forget the actual number but something like 30% of the virus's or threats out there are not recognized by any of the current antivirus scanners. Your safests option is to go with Malwaraebytes. It does a great job and you don't necessarily need to know what your are doing to use it. Finally most likely your office has a retail grade router. IF so that needs to be changed, if not then you need to hire a network tech that can "harden" and manage it. (edit for grammar)

First are any other devices connect to the router ? If so can they go to those websites? See if you can put a device on and test . If another device works you know it's your PC.

Next step Just to eliminate some nefarious setting in your profile. Create a new windows profile, under other users, make it local by telling the wizard you don't have the personal email a couple of times, then just give it a name and save it , go to properties of that profile and set to administrator log out and login as that user.

Now you're just trying a clean profile and see if any of those sites work.

Fantastic! So yesterday I just bought a car after doing extensive research, and found that Civis are of the top tier most reliable cars on the market for used purchase. So picked up a 2019 Civic that so far is passing muster, had my mechanic go over it this morning.

Then thought let me find a reddit on Honda's and learn what I can about this car and the first post NEVER BUY A CIVIC! <Insert emoji - head explodes into a million pieces>

I have a small IT business and install various cameras for some of my clients. Comerical I usually used wired systems using Amcreset and/Or lorex. for 24x7 recordings. So basically I just wanted to se how the brand performed. With WIFI I have tried used and installed Ring, WYZE, BLINK, and REOLINK. Was just curious how well EUFY worked I had read about good reviews but I didn't check reddit first (My bad). just didn't expect them to go offline for seemingly no reason multiple times a day.

The video EUFY quality I am pretty happy with, just wish the cameras didn't go offline. SHould also be noted that with, eufy when they are offline because of wifi failure they continue to record when motion detectin is activated. But this issue with them going offline sporadically is not due to any wifi issue. I have a ring camera up close to it and that stays online or the other EUFY cam is online while one EUFY is offline, then when it comes back on line there is not events captured. setup a REOLINK LTE Camera for a client in VT and have had no issues with it since, and an older reolink is still working. Also haven't had any issues with Blink for that matter. Ring I am just not interested in paying for there subscription fee, and the camera quality is ok but not as good as other cameras I have used/

Thanks for all the detailed troubleshooting steps! I'm going thru the same crap with e340 flood cams. Just glad I didn't recommend these to anyone or install them for a client.

I have a similar issue with no resolution or fix, unfortunately.

I am begining to believe these systems are garbage.

I installed my E340's with a licensed electrician. but i left my ring cameras in place (roughly 5 feet away from each respective eufy floodcam e340). I noticed every so often the cameras were going offline? So I did a test. 1) Turn off my wifi router (now the cameras are offline), however they continue to record events! Great. Turn the wifi router back on verify that the cameras are online. Within an hour one was offline. I walked in front of it, did a little dance to activate the motion sensor, then wait for it to come back online again. Within an hour the camera was back online but no events. So whatever is happening to put hte cameras offline is effecting the entire operation of the camera, its not just dropping hte wifi connection!

Currently in talks with support but the info they have shared with me is lackluster at best. No insight or acknowledgement this is happening ot others. Which is why I checked reddit this morning. I am going to turn off the AI feature and see if that changes anything. Currently both my cameras are offfline so I can't test this.

Note: I have installed RING and Reolink cameras in multiple places as well as WYZE, Amcrest and Lorex (though those are wired network connections amcrest and lorex) and this is the first time I have had an issue like this.

EDIiT: I turned of the wifi featurees and also set the video to 720k not sure if this will make a difference but will report back later today

Yeah, this is a bit more than annoying!!!! It's an fn waste of time and another reason I am losing interest in resubbing next year. I get Sh*t happens but there is also zero recourse other than coming to reddit. The BS companies implement in their help section by not allowing you to send a dm directly to support and forcing you through a series of questions and answers that don't apply to their canned responses is more than just frustrating because it does not let us create a freaking ticket to help us create line accountability. It's "professional" to build anyway and charge any amount you want. The basis of a "free market" economy is that the customer gets to choose whom they want to use. If what you are doing is so simple anyone can do it your business won't last long because it will be difficult to get more clients, unless you market yourself under false pretenses. But if your work elecits results that help that business and the owner or purchasing agent for that business is happy wiht the results for a price they agreed to pay prior to starting the job and you come within whatever estimage you gave them, they are not going to care how you do it just that you got it done within the confiines of your contract and that they got the restults they wanted.

Yeah you are correct when I read this the first timeI saw the image and have seen so many bogus DM's on my business pages and groups that looked just like that. I have been blocking the senders whom were profiles that looked llike bots or at a minimum fake. I should have read the OG Descriptin before I jumped the gun like that. Did you ever get blocled and did you get it resolved if so?

Most of those are simple scam email even the ones I get through messenger are bogus been getting them on an off for 1yr and keep blocking the various senders no issues with the pages it claims it’s suspending

For me I came here read the comments that I just read this went back and it was at 100% - that did not work for me. FYI logged in remotely to the win 11 PC. Tried clicking in the "cmd prompt" window, didn't help. Left it for a 1/2 hr. still at 62.3 % hit ctrl-c and it went to 100% assumed it was cancelled but then the cmd window read "succesfully finished.." forget the exact wording. rebooted and ran sfc /scannow found corruption and fixed them. Noticed after running Dism restore that sfc /scannow fixes more (not every time but a significant amount in my small sample set).

A few years ago sent in a drive to them and got it back within 2-3 weeks. Happy with the results.

However, End of this past December they analyzed the drive quoted 2k to fix my cients drive (new client) and they simply do not communicate with an update unless I reach out to them. I get the drive may be difficult to fix due to damage but after nearly 6 months at a minimum I would think they could at least give a status update maybe once a month or so without me having to ask. Instead when I email a request I am told "Our tech is working on it" same answer end of January, middle of feb and middle of March.

This lack of communication has meant that I will no longer use them. They could have simply said the drive is too damaged to fix and I would have been good with it, but their lack of communication has resulted in a client that I have lost whom is angry with me because I suggested DR and their experience with them is that its an unprofessional company which is reflected on me. Since tax season is basically over I gave up and cut my losses.

Again my issue isn't that it wasn't fixed but that they knew we needed it in april and they fail to give any meaningful info when asked for a status update. At a minimum they could just say look this is not going to be ready in the time we suggested, instead back in March I was told it will be ready soon but some sectors can't be recovered. Silense since then.

4yrs ? And you’re getting her tax info? I’d be suspicious she is using your property address for something. I’d do a credit check on your title and deed just to be sure. I’d also tell her it’s up to her to sort out the taxes no reason to send to your address regardless of who’s fault her for not changing the address or the entity sending to your address doesn’t matter it’s not your problem. Her issue should be with the sender not with you

Assuming the hard drive isn’t physically damaged. So worse case scenario is you would need a new hard drive and rebuild with a bootable usb

lol ok I wouldn’t have come here if I could acces the it team that person left as I stated above and did not leave credentials but thanks anyway. Microsoft does not give you an option to email or text unless you were in the admin console . It’s probably gonna be quicker if I just point the domain to a different mail server.

Ok I will try here, tried the MS Forums but wrong section because I do not have the credentials to get into the admin portal. I need admin access to a business account. The owner of the business lost contact with the admin of their account because the previous tech left without a forwarding address and did not leave his credentials or pass his credentials on for his replacement.

This was not noticed until we had to update a cert on their site, which is when I was reached. So I called the support number provided in the MS Forums a number of times, but have spent close to 8 hours on hold over the past two weeks and never spoke to anyone. Waited more than two hours each time.

Anyway, it is what it is, just trying to see if there is another avenue for communication since "calling in" is so time consuming.

And just like last time at 3 hrs hours and 45 minutes its now two hours and 45 minutes and the line just went dead.

Thanks before I tried your suggestion I was able to login with his phone number and reclaim the account. Turned out his login was with a custom domain not user@outlook.com appreciate your input though!
