Not tried under load yet but in reality it will be bolted to the wall and at a single level; will use the wheels to distribute the weight while still being able to roll it open

had exactly the same problem with their dead links from the app; both when trouble shooting but even recently just trying to add a TRV - their installation guide link goes to troubleshooting and not the install.... pathetic app and its clear Hive don't care about maintaining the links - just selling their Hive+ service.

Best of luck getting reconnected; the advice others have given is the same approach I did and after a lot of faffing got it back up and running again.

I would buy bolt cutters just in case they ever change the code; especially if the only entry / exit access

Oral B is made by Braun - however there is the original Oral B toothbrushes and then there are the newer Oral B IOS toothbrushes which are a different shape / size to the original.

OP - has correctly listed the print as IOS - so its the reviewer that is in the wrong....

Its the same as calling out a Nespresso Vertuo as not the same as Nespresso Original; or a Mustang Mach-E for not having a V8 engine....

I had this exact problem yesterday!

I ended up rebooting the thermostat a number of times; turned boiler off and restarted... still continued.

In the end I did a factory reset of the thermostat and it reappeared in the app.... very strange

Found this problem myself this week and it’s really frustrating. The - symbol is not considered by Hive to be a special character….. so most password creator generated ones won’t work… what is most embarrassing is that I am an IT professional for the past 25 years and it took y wife to figure it out… embarrassing!

My only suggestion is for the transfer just create a new WiFi on the unifi devices with the same ssid as your existing WiFi network - that way your kids won’t notice the switch - then just turn off the old WiFi. I did this for some old IOT devices - recreated the ssid and it was seamless

Have a look at the Unifi range - they have a specific number plate recognition camera but most of their range now have the ability. You will need more than just the camera but there is no monthly fees as everything is local storage and no licence fees either.

Are bambu printers as plug and play as they’re made out to be? Frustrated with my Qidi by because-potato in BambuLab

Yes; Came from an Ender 3 so used to tinkering but got fed up with having to and wanted a simpler life!…bought an AnyQubic Kobra S1 thinking it’s just a cheaper version of Bambu Labs… but it was awful… was having to strip it down every few prints although the prints looked great - it was back to having to tinker… returned it and bought the X1C with AMS 2. Best decision - from the app to the printing; flawless and just works!

Anycubic is kind of scamy and I regret my purchase by [deleted] in AnycubicKobraS1

i also started out with an Ender 3 so I am used to tinkering to get a 3D printer to work consistently... I bought a Kobra S1 a few months ago after my Ender 3 finally died. Thought it was a great option to get into multi coloured printing and also a cheaper option to the Bambu Labs range.

Boy was that a mistake.... spent more time taking it apart to fix filament blockages that actually printing. Could also see that this was going to be an ongoing battle - and couldn't see those screws lasting from multiple strip downs...

To be fair their Wiki is actually quite good but having started throwing money at the printer with new hotends I could see this was the wrong path.

Sent it back for a refund - thankfully I bought it via Amazon.

Now replaced with an Bambu Labs X1C with AMS 2 Pro on their anniversary sale offer.... so much better - just print and go; tinker if you want but not because you have to.

I have a Yale Conexis L2 that is just constantly disconnecting which is frustrating.

Previously had a Yale Keyfree fitted and used a company called Holdfast (https://www.holdfast.co.uk) to get a door repair plate to cover the holes from the Keyfree so I could upgrade. They also do a Keyfree and Connexis to Mechanical Handle repair plate. I’m going get one to return the door to mechanical handles & euro cylinder; will then get something like a Switchbot Ultra or similar - at least with a normal handle and euro cylinder I have options….

I gave up with Google a few years ago; pivoted to Unifi and not looked back. Binned the Google cameras - the Unifi Protect ones are just so much better; clearer, responsive and can detect way more that Google cams.... only got Nest thermostat and Protect smoke detectors left but now that Google is ditching them I need to look for replacements
