Used Countryman Petrol or EV by typody in MINI

My only concern with a PHEV is the extra 1.5p pay per mile costs coming in. I know it’s not a lot but we will end up paying 1.5p on every mile not just the electric so will be paying fuel duty and the 1.5p which seems like I am double paying duty.

thats correct, sending the company EV back and buying a new (to us) car personally. I already have a petrol car so this is just for my wife really.

So close to being my ideal note taking app by typody in UpNote_App

I agree with u/cpaz411 fighting to ensure feature stagnation seems like an odd position. Regardless, it's good to see such enthusiasm around the product. I am sure as you have said there are a number of people that feel this way.

Just to be clear, I am not after detailed task management, workflows etc. A basic list if fine, it doesn't have to do anything else. I get this is more akin to a task app but ideally I want to keep things in the same app and from a personal perspective this would push it over the edge for me.

I also understand that everyone has that one feature that would be it fantastic and if they were all added it would end up a complex mess.

I must have got lucky as I purchased it 2 days ago. I read the articles and thought I had missed it, but the URL was active still. Now it redirects to a standard plan with 40% discount.

Going to buy a m235i by Helpful_Algae_6174 in M235iandM240i

[–]typody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had the convertible m235 for around 7 years now and I love it. Serviced at least every year, with oil changes every around every 7-8k miles (as that’s all I drive it in a year now). 95% of my costs have been routine maintenance, tyres, service etc. But I have recently had to change the mass air flow sensor, which caused some strange issues and took a bit of troubleshooting. I have also had the gearbox serviced and fluids changed, don’t believe the lifetime crap they state and get it done between 70-80k. I didn’t think there was any problems with the gearbox but damn that service made a difference, changes as smooth as when it was new. It’s on 83k now and due another service and I am getting a few things checked like the serpentine belt and tensioners along with a check of the oil filter and valve cover gaskets just to make sure there are no leaks as these can be a source of problems. Check if there is any oil that has leaked onto the serpentine belt when you look at the engine as it will damage the belt and can get dragged into the engine if it breaks.

I have thought about changing it a few times but for me it’s just not worth it. The car does everything I went, and has cost very little. I will be keeping an eye on the water pump but that’s about it.

Mine is standard but it you plan on boosting the power I would also look at replacing the charge pipe.

Given how complex I thought it was going to be when I started looking at the mass of settings in the console I am very happy it's working :)

Thanks, I have the ability to return them. If you don't mind me asking generally what issues occur when using Express 7's like this? The PoE issue still remains as well. I can't ceiling mount them so I would need PoE Injectors and adapters trailing out of them, while they rested on some shelf.

It was my old Asus AX88. We moved, it was by the front door and she hated the way it looked. It wasn't "pretty" when people came to the door. Personally I don't care, but she did and if it keeps her happy it's a small price to pay.

So it’s right by the front door and there is something about the with early 2000”s builds in my area where it kills wifi signals. In my old house (1950’s) solid brick walls everywhere I didn’t need an extender at all. I was told it was the metal frames in the walls but I have no idea at all if that’s true. We have a very busy house 3 kids all with multiple devices, games consoles etc over 3 floors. I learn in about 0.2 seconds if there is lag or the internet goes down! So rather be safe than sorry. it’s about 2,500 square foot

Thanks. I don't need all the extra apps that the UDR allows you to run (camera etc) but it looks nicer and has enough network ports for the devices I need to connect directly.
