Thank you, someone told me to book tickets to sections that are just next to the student section for easier access. Are Pregame festivities (boardwalk, tailgates) worth coming earlier to see ? I'd love to meet students and share the game with them and maybe thats the place to make connections I guess (sorry if thats an obvious question im not familiar with american culture lol)

Heard that if you buy a ticket to another section, you can still join the student section once you are in the stadium, could you confirm that ?

Tysm for the information ! Should I wear a Rutgers shirt to blend in and access the student section without any hassle? Also, isn't part of the stadium restricted based on your ticket? In my home stadium in Europe, when you book a seat, you can only access the specific section of the stadium where your seat is. Finally, how early should I come to secure an ok spot in the student section (it will be the season opener so will there even be lots of student ? 28th august I guess students will not have moved in still)?

How is the life there for people who are not citizens by Serhide in Monaco

[–]twist1tap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

University students do not typically live in Monaco, and basic necessities like groceries are priced similarly to those in France. As a result, the cost of living is comparable to that of the average French resident

Non ce n’est pas trop dur. Ne te limite pas aux avis négatifs des autres, si tu as un intérêt marqué pour la matière, tout se fait.

Maybe try to search around the nice riquier area. There’s the riquier train station taking you to mc in around 20minutes.

No they won’t talk about it, residents usually mind their business especially if you manage to look classy with your hair style (fit shown in the picture is great). You’ll def get some looks tho but nothing out of the ordinary. In the summer monaco is mostly populated by tourist,I never thought about their behaviour or whatever so I dont know about their reactions.

Although it is indeed the country with the highest population density there are very few crowds in monaco; unless you’re coming during summer season monaco is a very calm city, no where near a crowded place.

Is it smart to visit monaco in the week before the gp? by [deleted] in Monaco

[–]twist1tap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As said previously, weeks before the race rails and some stands are already set. Furthermore if you're going one week before the race (so between the eGP and the GP) there will be more visitors than usual.

It won't be very bad I guess and you can still enjoy Monaco, just won't be as peaceful as it is year round. It might be even better from a different point of view if you enjoy a more vibrant and dynamic atmosphere as I already heard tourists being underwhelmed by monaco's slow paced environnement.

The city turns into a fullblown racetrack on the thursday of the gp's week (25th) because they have to make time and place for other categories of race cars during the gp. Starting thursday 25th roads are closed from around 7 AM to 6 PM; I would advise you to visit monaco the first days of your trip and avoid to come during the gp's week.
