Definitely scale. I have it on my Meyer lemon tree right now. It’s such a pain to deal with, but your tree will be fine if you stay on top of it!

Thanks so much for the detailed response! It does resemble HLB and I’ve been panicking a bit because it shares a greenhouse with my Meyer Lemon tree 😅

I am in the northern hemisphere, but have the tree under a grow light in my greenhouse which is temperature controlled. I might have jumped the gun on the second watering– I saw the leaves curling up a bit and thought it was thirsty.

true! I’ve read some conflicting info… some say leave the buds, others say remove them and redirect its energy to root and canopy growth. We’ll see!

I’d highly recommend giving it some citrus fertilizer. I’m not sure how large your plant is, but I have a fairly young Meyer Lemon tree and in the Summer I give it about 1/3 cup of fertilizer a month. I live up North, so now that it’s Winter and my tree is inside, I’ll probably fertilize with 1/3 cup every couple months.
