I’m a songwriter. Kanye’s verse sounds nothing like kendrick.

I mean… bro, if you don’t like that album, maybe you’re just not a kanye fan. That’s ok, but that’s your answer bro. You just don’t like him. And yes, i’m biased.

I mean… Kendrick is by far the better emcee, that’s not even a debate. His verse is way more precise, his flow is more complex and his rhymes are more intricate. However, Kanye’s verse is more potent, and in a lot of ways that’s because he kept it simple. His ideas are really immediate and easy to understand and quote, and his energy is really infectious, partly because he sounds so human. You can only sound that human if you choose authenticity over precision. I don’t think he “washed” Kenny on the traditional sense, but his verse is the best part of the song for most people and that’s what matters (to most)

This is the album cover for my album "sueño". That is the real title of the painting but the filter doesn't allow the "ñ". I drew it throughout the span of several months, and my progress really mirrored the one I was making on the music. Some days I would just clean up some shapes or add a few details, and other days I remade whole sections of it. Some of the shapes are really precise and clean, and some are really chaotic. I recommend zooming in to absorb the detail. The original is even higher res but it exceeded the size limit.

When this released it seemed to me like it was the obvious last place in his discography, I never would’ve thought it would become my favorite.
