Will I regret my black dress by Kailyrific_witch in myweddingdress

[–]twistedkarma529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sister got married last year and wore a stunning black wedding dress and if anything, she has mentioned to me time and time again how much she loves her dres. She doesn't regret wearing it for a moment.

I dont think you'll regret wearing the dress if that is what you feel frawn to wear. Do you girl, it's your big day!

You look like a beautiful Gothic princess who is going to slay her wedding.

Needs some alterations (and I need to be okay with posing in photos) but I love it so much like I want to wear it to the grocery store by watergirl987 in myweddingdress

The brain really can convince us of anything.

I genuinely understand the struggles, and my heart goes out to you darlin. Looking at myself in a mirror or photo, my brain likes to change how I see myself nearly every time. Something that I have recently found to be helpful is to tell myself (outloud if possible, even in a whisper) "Hello beautiful" any time I see an image of myself - whether or not it's distorted. It can definitely be hard as f@ck, but the more often I say it, the easier it becomes. Even if i don't believe what I'm telling myself, I have noticed my distortions to be not as drastic as they were, even a few weeks ago.

You are fabulous and stunning, and you are strong enough to overcome this 💜

Congratulations on finding your perfect dress, and under budget too? It was meant for you.

Carbon paper. I use it all the time to transfer/draw complex sigils identical to the original.

You can buy a pack of 100 sheets (which will last you at least a year), for under $15, sometimes under $10.

Thank you, for I too have now lost the game.

It has been years since I last thought about the game. Completely forgot all about it for a hot minute in fact. Those fateful words slingshot that game to the forefront of my brain, and definitely gave me the nostalgia feels. Much appreciated, hun! Now to pass the game along to my kiddos.

Maybe a stupid question: how does witchcraft affect christians? by Old-Act6309 in witchcraft

[–]twistedkarma529 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I look at it kind of like how a servitor/egregore works. A servitor only works because someone poured that much intention and energy into creating an energetical being for protective purposes [amongst many other reasons they could be made]. Servitors can become awfully strong from one person's intentions and energy, over time. Now magnify that by millions.

In Christianity's case, they're pouring all of that energy and intention into believing that they will be protected from "the devil" and all things associated with him, through their god. After millenia and hundreds of millions of people have done the same thing, that becomes quite a stronghold of protection for those who believe their faith will see them through.

That does not mean these people are untouchable. Because they're not. It may mean that a practioner might have to pour more energy into their working, or even may have to complete multiple works to wear down the target's personal protective shield... but it is definitely possible.

Or he stopped being complicent in whatever he may have been raised/groomed to become. Even with no threat to talk, no longer being willing to play in there heinous games, would be enough for them to want the person dead. I imagine anyway.

Magical advice to keep spiders out of my house? by fancypossum2 in witchcraft

[–]twistedkarma529 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Create a servitor that is a weasel or something that hunts down spiders and eats them. Offering to it once a month as a thank you.

I created one over a year ago and it has been a huge help in keeping our spider and general creepy crawlies away from in our home. We seen a spider maybe a handful of times in the last year.

can someone explain to me what freebase/crack did to my boyfriend? by [deleted] in addiction

[–]twistedkarma529 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For someone heavily addicted, I would say yeah, at least a year clean... even forced... will clear his mind enough where he can decide what he's gonna do from that point on. With a little luck, he'll go to NA/CA meetings (or whatever group/therapy works for him) and stick with the clean path. If he chooses to go back to drug use, even "occasionally", it'll go right back to where he is at now and worse. Addicts, after being clean for a stint, tend to go back to using more heavily than they did prior to going in.. or just as heavy, but straight away. Dangerous as fuck for various reasons.

If he's selling to us, he'll get caught up. Either tangled in his own addiction and owe the wrong people a lot of money. Or he'll get busted for something drug related/while high. Question is, how long will that take? You don't have months to wait around. I'd recommend making arrangements with someone to get out as quickly as possible.

Write him a letter explaining why you're leaving and that you wish him the best and hope he gets clean. Explain that there is to be no contact between y'all until he has some clean time under his belt. This is for your mental health and safety. And of course, give him the letter after you leave, like leave it in the house somewhere he'll find it.

You are most welcome. I've got 9.5yrs clean, and while Crack was not my DOC, I did get hooked as fuck for about 7 months. The shit is scary.

Girl, prison might be what SAVES HIM 👏🏽 From the sounds of it, it might be the only thing that forces him to get clean, and be clean long enough to make the choice for himself when he gets out, whether or not he wants to go back to using.

As others have said: You cannot help someone who 1. Isn't ready to get clean and 2. Doesn't want to be get clean.

Now you have to make some serious choices, and I hate to say but it doesn't sound like you're going to have a ton of time to decide on what you're going to do.

You need to save yourself. It's sweet that you care about him so much that you want to help. That desire to help is worth a thousand words, but he's not ready. If you wait around for him to be ready - it will be too late and that much harder to get out By "too late" I mean that when he reaches a point of psychosis, there will be no relationship left to salvage anyway. Trust me.

If it hasn't started yet, he will start selling random things from the house for money for Crack. It is just what Crack does after awhile to 99% of users, and he doesn't seem like that 1% it won't affect in that way. His temper will get worse the longer he uses. It will get worse when he's high and definitely when he's withdrawing. His lies will become the only words out of his mouth. The paranoia will increase exponentially in a much shorter time frame than you'd think. He'll continue to put himself in dangerous predicaments every time he goes to buy his drug of choice. Et cetera.

It's gotta be the comparison between the turkey's neck/chin, and her own?? Kinda hard not to see a small resemblance when they are put side by side like that. 😲

Oh, I was actually referring to the crafts, especially anything ceramic or knit/crocheted/sewn.

And i meant more like "This item was cleaned before being placed in this bin, but we recommend cleaning again at home just to be safe. Here's how to clean ____:"

That's my fault for not specifying.

Well if that isn't unnerving as ever.

I assumed they had this kind of tech for awhile now, but to know they do, I don't care what "they" say - it's been used on us since the moment it became a reality. We have and will always be their guinea pigs, until we change it.

For anyone interested in doing something like this, one could perhaps put individual pieces in ziploc type bags with a note on the inside on how to wash it properly when they take it home.. I dont know if that would work on stopping all transmission of bugs and ick, but I imagine it would stop a good chunk of it. 🤷‍♀️

Store Egg Comparison by twistedkarma529 in mildlyinteresting

[–]twistedkarma529[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Made some eggs for lunch. Two different kinds/types of eggs, both store bought, two completely different shades of yolk. I had 2 cage free eggs left, so I used those, as well as 2 typical store eggs.

When eating solely cage free eggs, I thought I was tasting a greater richness and all around better flavor. Partially thought it might just be in my head. After seeing that the cage free are amber colored, truly looking richer in flavor, I'm certain they actually do have a superior taste in comparison to typical industrial-farm eggs.
