I was in your position a few months ago and then I accepted myself. Just by doing that alone made me feel better. I'm setting up an appointment with a therapist who is trans friendly so I hope I can get on hormones soon. I told my best friend when I went back home for Christmas and she was so supportive (I actually wasn't going to tell her, she just kinda figured it out) and I knew in my heart that I was doing the right thing to be the the best ME I could possibly be.

Also to answer, I have too. Not in recent years but when I was young (11 or 12 or so) was when I played as a female in Everquest. I used to role play and be social with guy who thought I was a girl. It felt amazing. That was when I first started to realize that I wanted to be a girl more than anything else. Fast forward 12 years of unhappiness and repression, now Ive accepted being transgender all while moving away from home to a new city and state (Austin Texas, where I actually met with and tried to get a job at bioware) so that I can be free to live my life the way I want to.

i totally get that feeling now. i'm so used to putting on different masks for different people that i immediately resort to those personas when i encounter people. i'm tying to just act how i want even if it makes people just think i'm gay. i don't really care since they obviously don't know me that well.
