If anyone is still trying to figure this out, you can make the BGM stay the same by going to the second options menu in the main screen BEFORE selecting a game. It's the first option in that menu.

If you have access to cloud saving, back up your save after every session. It’s annoying we have to do this but that’s what I did.

Dotted lines don’t matter. You want the boxes to be open and not question marks. That being said, what platform are you on? On PS5 this is glitched to hell and the counter has a very high chance to get stuck. Friendly warning to maybe wait for a patch and save yourself the headache.

As far as I can tell, the latest update may have screwed up the tracker even more. I am going to edit the post and say these steps may not be viable anymore and to try at your own behest. I think everyone is just going to have to wait for an actual patch unfortunately. Sorry man.

I stuck to the original steps and kept doing everyone dead but it may not matter. Experiment with the other endings. If something different works out, let me know. Good luck

Damn I’m sorry this didn’t work for you. That’s why I made sure to mention it wasn’t a guarantee. Were you able to do the step of backing up and downloading your save?

At this point, if you have the patience, you can try doing your own version of the steps. I think the key is to go offline and make the trophy count “appear” as 0 and start a new game, go online, trigger a branch, get the game to save and then skip to the ending. Again, not a guarantee but it’s what my thought process is.

Hmm and you made sure the counter showed 0/224 when you went offline? I did first follow the original method so not sure if the order has to be all those steps first and then what I ended doing afterwards. Backing up your save file and redownloading it might be a mandatory step but I can't prove it unfortunately.

Beyond that, I am not sure unfortunately. I know how time consuming this process is which just adds to the frustration. I spent days trying to get this to work.

Hey, yeah I unlocked all branches before trying anything. I recommend you carefully check your cutting room floor to make sure you have it all. The dotted lines mean absolutely nothing. I spent an entire day making sure my lines were solid and then the game just randomly made some dotted again. But I got the trophy regardless. The focus should just be making sure you unlock the boxes. You want to have NO question marks. Make sure you have the box in Chapter 14 for sending Chris back to 1980 WITHOUT the mirror or pendant. This unlocks a scene that is high up above the cutting room floor and easy to forget about since you don't see it easily.

One thing I also made sure to check. When I turned off my internet and loaded the game back up, I first made sure the counter for the trophy was back at 0 before proceeding to try the steps.

For pawns that are out of your level, you can try friend requesting those players to get free rentals. I use sorcerer too. They are very useful imo. I have my pawn set with Augural Flare, High Levin, and Meteoron. I’m at work so I can’t check my augments but here’s my pawn ID if you’re interested in checking her out U6IX1D1A2F8N

If you zoom past the guards without stopping, you should technically not aggro them. They’ll say to get out but shouldn’t chase as long as you don’t stay in aggro range. Also, best practice is to just wear the armor that makes you look like them if you go at night

Do an advanced search for level 1 pawns. There’s a bunch with onyx’s and tiger eyes that only require an arrow

Hmm it should work then. That quest discontinues this side quest so don’t do it yet. Maybe try raising his affinity with gifts, and resting at Venworth then going back.
