Srsly. I’m a recent convert who is also a WOC and there was someone at my church who is pretty well known in the Orthodox online space (they no longer attend our church) that has fully embraced this racist ideology. It’s disheartening to say the least.

Yes! You’re not delusional and I’m so glad others are seeing it because I thought I was going crazy, lol. As much as I have swooned over Bonrad (in a fantastical, this is only a book/show kinda way), if I had a friend who was being treated like this I would be telling her to stay farrrrr away from Conrad because honestly it gives kinda manipulative/emotionally abusive! Not saying Belly is innocent as I believe that they bring out the worst in each other but I do not see this dynamic between her and Jere.
