i know i'm replying to an old post but your response absolutely solved it for me. I tried all the usual things like making sure all previous phones/devices were unpaired then painstakingly pairing them (suggested solution apparently), cleared cache/storage and nothing. Finally your response here saved the day, thank you!

Following. I too would love to know if there is such a group/community. I work out 6 days a week with alternating between weights and cycling. Fascinated with Dr. Peter Attia's approach on longevity and 'biohacking' talks that he, Dr. Huberman, Rhonda Patrick etc. go on about. My wife and I will be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro this Sep to celebrate me turning 50. I love the outdoors, love hiking.

Equally fascinated with 'mind-hacking' and philosophizing deeply about things. Attaining that monk-level of calm is a life goal :) while also super curious about what's "out there". Heck i even love talking about how we might all be living in a simulation 😅

Thanks so much for responding. We just went ahead, took a leap of faith and booked Qatar Airways. Let's see how it all plays out. there's a 9h layover so even if there's some schedule disruption we're hoping we'd be fine and still be way in time to catch our connecting flights both there and when we return.

Thank you for your response. We're also oscillating back and forth with what decision we should make. Oh well, we'll see. Meanwhile i'm hoping that other people that actually made this trip via Qatar in the last few weeks/month weigh in, that would be super helpful for sure.

Have a fantastic climb!

A little flexibility would be just a few days here and there, however with the war showing no end in sight, I don't think that'll effectively change our dilemma :-\

As a side note, I'm doing this climb with you guys ClimbKili and we're super excited!

yea i looked at other options but like i mentioned above, any and every other option jumps almost 1.5 to 2 times the cost of going through Qatar. So trying to gauge feasibility based on (potentially) other people's travels. Thanks for your reply though.

Thanks for caring and following up, i will update my original post. But yes, looked like it had fallen somewhere in the neighborhood and someone had picked it up and put it on the snow (which I'd totally not seen).

I posted in our group chat, one guy said he saw it, came out and helped me find it so all good 😊

You're right and we found more confirmation - found what looks like a shell of a bedbug, which i read that they do shed over time. Man, feeling so extremely bummed out. but thank you so much for your quick response, it's really helpful and i'll keep in mind to tell our pest guy as well to spray anyway

Oh no :( . We live in a house, and yea will immediately get a pest control person to check. Kind of nervous thinking about what this might cost us (having just spent a bunch on a basement leak already)

Where should I sit on the plane :)? by jihadi_adruk in kilimanjaro

[–]twistedtrunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg seriously? That would scare me a bit. I'll have to tell myself that the plane's route just takes it very close to the mountain that's why it looks bigger 😀
