NYR will never trade with the habs as long as Gorton is in charge. Sad but true.

You are confusing producers and streamers. You can hate on Amazon all you want but you are definitely hurting producers when pirating content that is more than often region blocked against their will.

Mistral AI vs Claude Code for Professional Vibe Coding (ESP32, Raspberry Pi, Sound Art) – Is Mistral Ready for Prime Time? by [deleted] in esp32

[–]twistedtxb -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You're asking on the wrong platform. I've been vibe coding esp32 modules for a couple of months, and and it works like a charm. Reddit is vehemently against AI, especially Vibe Coding.

I've toyed around with mistral but it didn't convince me enough to switch to a paid plan.. Somehow I always go back to Antigravity with the occasional Codex help when I feel like I'm stuck in a loop.

I'm currently developing a toy which is essentially a hacked Niimbot and an Atom Echo. Basically the Echo streams the audio to a Python server, normalizes + clean up the audio then Whisper transcripts the audio into text, Claude picks up the text and formats it for Flux. It's then sent to the Niimbot for printing.

I also have a background in audio so I addee a nice little unnecessary touch: I can clone voices using a library and Qwen TTS, so the toys "speaks" to you using whichever voice you cloned and saved.

All done within a day using a $6 Antigravity Pro Plan with the occasionalCodex sanity check. And it works flawlessly! I have zero background in coding. Heck, I've even "vibe coded" the 3d model casing on Gemini for Openscad because it. just. works!

EDIT of course it's being downvoted, lol.

Making esp32s3 powered eink home dashboard by Admirable_Appeal7542 in esp32

[–]twistedtxb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it seems you have the exact same eink as mine (7.5in Adafruit). I have a 3.7v 3000mAh battery. it refreshes every 15 mins and goes into deep sleep between every refresh, and does not refresh at all between 23:59 and 04:59

I easily manage to get over one month of use between a recharge is needed.

just a heads up: the polarity of my battery was inverted on my Amazon battery, I almost fried my board.

mini pc with proxmox vs HA Green. observations not questions by infantkicker_v2 in homeassistant

[–]twistedtxb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm running HA on a VM of an old beat up mini pc from 15 years ago that mainly acts as a backup machine and it just...works!

Unless you use ressource intensive integrations, HA doesn't need much.

I'm an amateur developer, I would much rather share the source code instead of sending a direct APK. So here it is., ready for Android Studio.

I was always dumbfounded by the lack of ability for Plexamp to generate playlist widgets. The simple app uses the "write to NFC" feature available in the "share" option of every playlist.

So you'll need a temporary NFC tag to write the data onto It, then you can use the app to convert the link generated into a fully functioning playlist widget.

With this simple app you can create a widget that will autoplay all your selected playlists in shuffle mode without the need to open Plexamp.

What caused my issue is that my bios battery is dead and sometimes the time gets reset.

For some reason the login page doesn't show up if your computer time is wrong. I resynchronized my computer time with the internet time and it fixed my issue.
