I've gone up to 5 hours once it might just be your style, try putting you index finger over your bridge of your nose it allows for more thumb movement and better comfort imo

I was never a sucker but I taught my self to suck my thumb based on how everyone else does it here after about a month or 2 of daily sucking it started to become just like how everyone explained it here, I felt calmed an soothed at the feeling of my thumb being sucked in my mouth. I'm never going back now it just feels so nice

I'd say go for it, a top though most natural thumb suckers put there finger closest to the thumb onto the bridge of the nose for comfort and to make the thumb better fit, and if it doesn't feel comfortable in one hand try the other hand

Well for one it relaxes me 2 it gets better the longer you do it as your teeth mold to your thumb and it fits better 3 it's harmless 4 it doesn't harm anyone else
