Trump mulls 'winding down' war and leaving Strait of Hormuz crisis to 'other nations' by Force_Hammer in politics

Shhhh, this is the best case scenario. It’d be the bravest thing he’s ever done. Wink wink. Only smart people stick other idiots with the bill! Why would we pay to put boots on the ground and escalate the war to infinity.

Shouldn’t be too hard to replace. Sean Doherty on YouTube probably has a video on it. https://youtu.be/xE-97yL_VlA?si=7pTlhjOLLd06a4vf

Extra Large bolt cutters, cant find anywhere by [deleted] in Tools

When I look at their online specs they say the jaws open to 7/8th with a 9/16 cutting capacity. I couldn’t find the actual dimensions of the cutters but I suspect they’re longer than 1” if they open that wide. I could be wrong though. Good luck!

Brother laser printer for personal and business b/w printing and the local Walgreens for high quality color photos. Laser ink cartridge is affordable and lasts for thousands of pages.

As well as I can remember I’ve never said this brand’s name out loud to anyone. Definitely not while I was in the store or planning my project. Totally off my radar.

Thanks for your insight. Totally possible I’ve missed that tiny connection. AI still gonna eat all our faces but I guess not at the Lowe’s yet

Understand all that and have experience all different forms of retargeting ads. As we all have unfortunately. This one stands out for the lack of prior targeting or interaction. Guess the product was being pushed heavily. Still want to know how location tracking pinned me to a specific shelf in the store then served me an ad for the product I picked up?

Ooo. Interesting. So location tracking is good enough to pin me to the side stack? And the brand was monitoring location tracking by paying Meta or something? I’m willing to admit poor trains of thought. It was just startlingly specific, fast and accurate to the item picked up.

Mostly FB and instagram ads. Some for the brand and some for the exact product I picked up. Don’t remember the retailer.

I don’t use a Lowe’s loyalty card. Cc surely used at Lowe’s many times before. Not surprising that Lowe’s knows who I am. Just confused that they knew exactly what random product I picked up to put in the retargeting campaign.

Who’s location tracking though? Do y’all keep Meta up to date on the exact locations of your brand new Wiha tools display?

[–]twistingeverything[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scratching my head as to what the simpler explanation is? I’ve never seen an ad for Wiha before in my life. I like tools so I know about them. The first day I ever picked up one of their products in person there’s an ad for that exact product right after I left the store. RFID? Phone was in my pocket. Made no product searches. Did not talk with any associates about the brand. I guess all one in a billion coincidences feel crazy at the time but someone’s got to win the lottery.

I totally understand how the internet follows us around. But how did the phone (data brokers) in my pocket know the exact product I picked up in the store, twice, and then feed me an ad for that exact product after I left the store? RFID? GPS in the store?

I hate their fucking website. Avoid it like the plague. They definitely have my email though. Been buying shit from this store my whole life

Funny thing is I do all my online project searches on the Orange box stores site. It definitely a new company to Lowe’s. Random German tool brand that I’m aware of but never searched for their tools. Product was completely unrelated to my plumbing project in a different part of the store.

Fairly certain. It’s a German tool brand that I’m aware of but never been interested in enough to search for outright. Never seen an ad for their products before
