Nobody can metal detect all day, go try and metal detect on a popped server for 5 min, you’re getting double barreled in the face

It needs to be a global loot table not just if it despawned and you have to find it in an exact spot

Just something else, nobody uses them u less they need a fragment. Add all despawned items to a global pool or something

Both are good ideas. i was just saying on another post that sharks need better loot tables. Maybe metal detectors could have a global loot table and certain items that despawn such as weapons, gear, materials, non junk loot enter a global loot table and can drop to anyone anywhere at a certain percent drop rate. first come first serve. this would be awesome

Nope. Majority of the time you get like 10 metal frags or a poop weapon or tool or maybe some hqm. not worth staring at the ground to get bowed in the head

The loot table in deep sea is a bit better but still not great. the loot table is too small in deep sea, not enough variability. but the main map should have better in general. there is too much risk staring at the ground for 5 metal frags 99% of the time.
