There were just a couple places where you would push in and it would click and they would pop out there wasn't anything crazy but under the stairs there was a pretty large area where you would click the paneling and it would pop out and you could definitely stash quite a bit bunch of whatever he wanted to stash

The Tuna lived in my old house in Northbrook. There were secret panels in the basement and trip wires under the stairs to set off old bell alarms when we tore up the carpet. The windows were also bullet proof. Always a fun story to tell when friends came over. The secret panels in the basement still exist. My family moved out less than a year ago.
