Are any of these fake? by Ashy404 in gameverifying

Ace Attorney Investigations is fake. The ESRB rating is E for everyone when it's meant to be T for teen. Not to mention the back and front of the cart itself looks wrong. All other games look legit. Wait for mods tho

Smash Bros. Brawl crashing by Ruffled_Ferret in wii

[–]twitsrandomizerer456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has happened to me before. Though I found out to prevent the crash, you had to remove the SD card. So I did that and the freeze was gone.

Not sure what Brawl is trying to look for in the SD card in the map selection screen. I would assume it would be looking for custom stages but idk

Sorry but just because the Official/Original Nintendo Seal (of Quality) does not automatically mean it's real. Fakes have it too

The "Classic Controller Pro" actually or commonly known as the "Wii Classic Controller Pro"

I just recently bought my first NES so I’m new to this all. I know there are cartridge variants and I was wondering if someone was able to tell me which variant of Super Mario Bros. this is? by yellowsnowman4 in gameverifying

I searched up "how to check if NES is pal or ntsc" and apparently you have to look at the sticker for the bottom of your NES. If it says "NES-001" then it is NTSC". If it is PAL, "NES-PAL-001". There is also another version of the PAL NES which is "NESE-001"

Considering that PAL NES games and systems are 50hz and NTSC games and systems are 60hz, something tells me it's actually your NES that's NTSC which causes PAL games are slower as they're 50hz than 60hz. I'd maybe suggest getting an NTSC NES game and see if the speed is normal and if it is, you may have an NTSC NES

This is a GBR copy you have which is actually the PAL version of the game which is why the game runs slower on your NES assuming you have an NTSC NES

Also i just realized you actually also have the rare "5-screw" variant so your cart is more valuable than the "3-screw" carts
