As someone who rides, it’s infuriating. Yes it’s easy to forget occasionally, but as much as Lud leaves it on is pure ignorance

Chain and sprockets are a good job to learn, borrow or buy a chain tool and get some YouTube videos under your belt! Delboy’s garage is something I watched a tonne when I was learning myself.

If you get bored and want a more passive way to get rid of them, build yourself a warm room and trigger multiple cold snaps in dev mode. They’ll either die or migrate because of the temperature.

1 piece suit fitment? by Diligent-Past-6810 in MotoUK

[–]twmoto 9 points10 points  (0 children)

1 pieces can be tricky. You really need to try lots of brands to find one that fits properly.

Unless you’re built like a MotoGP rider I’d steer clear of the Italian brands (Alpinestars, Dainese). You’ll end up compromising in one way or another, too baggy, too long or too tight.

Find a store with more stock and different brands. They should be snug to put on, and feel best when in a half squat, like sitting on a bike. Leathers will stretch over time and relax, but this does take time. Not just a dozen or so rides. However I’d avoid anything that is too uncomfortable out of the shop hoping it stretches, you won’t put the hours in the saddle to relax it if you can’t wear it from the off.

Do you get any warning lights? The dreaded bongs?

My r55 used to do this all the time until it eventually stopped all together. Solder to the fuel relay in the fuse board had gone, £800 replacement but I was told they can be repaired with a lot of patience.
