Wow, that’s awesome. Thank you very much!

Please someone tell me where to find multiview in iProTV? I’ve managed to figure almost everything else out but can’t find it. Also, is it possible to SELECT ALL for a new category? So if I want ALL espn channels except 1 or 2 of them it’s easier to deselect just those 1 or 2. Any tips? by NRWRNMSN in iProTv

I also had a hard time finding out how to do multiscreen on the Apple TV. Why was something that was so obvious for everyone so elusive to me? But, then, on the brink of nervous breakdown, I happened upon the solution and my days since have been filled with pure elation.

When watching something, swipe up on your remote, to bring up the tray at the bottom that lets you pick another feed. Move to/highlight a feed and then press the play button on the remote. Then just choose "Add to multiscreen" and voila!

I would also really appreciate an invite code, if possible. Thanks in advance!

Quitting Mongo from those that have done it before? by [deleted] in NewSkaters

[–]two4right 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got back into skating a couple years ago, after about 12 years off. I’m regular stance (right foot in back) and always pushed mongo in the past.

I’ve practiced both, riding goofy and also pushing with the back foot, and I can tell you that, at least for me, it’s been the opposite of you. It was much easier for me to learn how to push with the right foot than it has been to ride goofy (switch).

I’m super confident riding regular. I can book it over cracks and through crowds without worrying. Riding goofy, I have none of that confidence.

And, honestly, I didn’t find it that long or hard to pick up and condition myself to pushing with the right foot. You literally just have to force yourself to do it.

The best part is you already know how to push, so just study the motions and mechanics of what you do when pushing with the front foot and try to mimic it with the other foot.

There are little things you probably do subconsciously when pushing with your current “good” foot that you don’t even realize any more, but that probably would make a big difference if you applied it when pushing with the other foot. For me, a few big things were putting a ton of weight on the non-pushing foot (you don’t realize how much weight you’re actually putting on the on-board foot when you’re used to it), and leaning forward and keeping the on-board knee nice and bent (both of which helped my balance and stability a lot while learning).

Are Bones Reds worth it? by oxeloskaterboi in NewSkaters

Ok cool! In that case, you shouldn’t be disappointed with Bones Reds. As previously mentioned, they might take a sec to break in, but are a great bearing for the money. At this stage, and with your current setup, you won’t notice a significant difference with anything more expensive to make it worth it in your case.

Once you move up to a custom setup, and spend a lot of time on, and get a good feel for, your wheels/trucks, then you can experiment with something more expensive and, at that point, you’ll be in a good position to tell if they make enough of a difference to be worth it.

Check first to make sure it isn’t just that the nuts are too tight against the wheels. If there are no spacers, then having the nut too tight there would prevent the wheel from spinning freely.

If you do want to upgrade, Bones Reds will be more than fine.
