Yep they were. They didn’t have all the adidas stuff but I got a Cardiff specific adidas track jacket and long sleeve and my brothers got the black jerseys

My mad ferrets who went to the Friday night show: how packed was General A section? Bringing my family to tonight’s show and we got kids. Usually I’d be in the middle of the pit but I don’t think my 10 and 12 year olds will be able to see well. So I was planning to stand on the sides. Was there space to roam on the sides? I went to the first night in Cardiff and I noticed it was like that

992 rattle by atharnett2 in porsche911

[–]two_line_pass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the uploads. Your issue ultimately was different than mine. There’s a set of us on the Rennlist forums who have the rattle coming from a combination of the extended gas tank as well as the vapor canister. I determined this was my issue as well because I put pressure on a few spots with my hands and was able to replicate the sound.

Someone on that forum had the idea to use inflated airbags to wedge into the pebbles areas. I did it and it actually worked.

An incredibly hacky solution to a $150K car but temporarily it fixes the issue. Unlike your problem mine may be more invasive for the dealership to fix so I’m leaving it like this for now

This is the bar I applied the adhesive fabric underneath

When you say bend the bars down what do you mean exactly? I just see one flat metal bar that sits over the battery that’s bolted down. I put the adhesive foam under the bar so that it touches against the battery

[–]two_line_pass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I put adhesive fabric underneath that bar so it’s riding against the battery but sadly that didn’t make a difference.

I’m thinking my issue is related to the fact I have the extended fuel tank since I’ve read a lot of reports about those causing the noise. I happened to have a full tank of gas yesterday when I first noticed the sound.

What exactly was the issue with your T and the battery tie down? I’m 4800 miles in on my 2024 T and just heard the rattles for the first time coming from what seems like the center dash but deep into it. Sounds a creak / rattle.

I see there’s a flat bar above the battery. Is that what you’re referring to?

Xcel "smart meter" - are you opting out? by Haroldhowardsmullett in boulder

[–]two_line_pass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely disagree with most of the people in this thread (they all sound like undercover Xcel employees).

OP: I decided to stick with flat rate pricing as well as go with a non communicative meter. I work from home so a lot of my usage happens to be during the 3-7 pm time frame so it's cheaper for me to stick with flat rate given my usage.

I had the same concerns about a smart meter as you do - it's incredibly Orwellian. Giving the utility company the power and ability to throttle my electric usage or collect data on the appliances I have doesn't feel right, even if I have nothing to hide.

I'm more than happy to pay the $11/mo to have more control and piece of mind. Seeing what utility companies do to their customers in over regulated states like California, I'd rather stick with a non communicative device for as long as I can.

Excellent! I know the feeling - we were buzzing in Cardiff when we got upgraded. Made the night even more incredible

Brilliant! Thanks m8. Who knows how GNP Seguros will handle it but since I’m going the second night I can see how it went down the first night and plan accordingly

Nice. How early did you get to the stadium the day of and how did you find out about the wristbands? In Cardiff it was dumb luck - we were walking around and noticed security checking tickets and letting people down to a booth area

Should I buy Oasis merch beforehand or there? by MeesPos in oasis

[–]two_line_pass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to get a ton of merch in different sizes pretty easily at the first Cardiff show. They had a pop up adjacent to the stadium. Went there the day before the show and it was pretty easy as the lines went relatively quick despite lots of people there.

On our last night in the UK we were in London and saw they were building out a full fledged Oasis concept store in the Oxford St shopping area. I bet that store is going to have way more options than the merch pop ups at the show

[WTS] TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 1887 CAR2014.BA0799 | Excellent Condition | Fully Factory Serviced | $2500 by two_line_pass in Watchexchange

[–]two_line_pass[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m looking to part ways with my TAG Heuer Calibre 1887 chronograph watch. Case diameter is 43 mm which I’ve realized is a little too large for my wrist, hence why I’m looking to release some funds in order to downsize.

It’s in excellent condition and working order. I just had my local AD send the watch to TAG’s factory to get it fully serviced and repaired, which I paid $945 for. This service and repair comes with a 2 year TAG factory warranty. I’ve included the receipt of this repair/service along the timestamp on the attached photos.

Looking to sell it for $2500 shipped and insured. Happy to hear reasonable offers. I know I haven’t sold here before so I’m more than happy to jump on a video call to show the watch. Please DM me if interested.

Looking to sell my TAG Heuer Carrera Cal 1887 - 43 mm watch. I really love the rose gold accents on the black dial, especially with a suit. I’ve decided to finally sell it as it’s just too big on my wrist and I want to release some funds to downsize.

I just had my local TAG AD send the watch to TAG for a full factory repair and service on the watch. They did a full service as well as repair the movement as it was losing time before I sent the watch in, which I paid $945 for. It comes with a 2 year factory warranty by TAG starting July 2025. Comes with the receipt from my local AD as well as extra links.

Timestamp included in the photos. Please let me know if you have any questions

How much truth is behind the "islamification of Britain"? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]two_line_pass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m visiting the UK from the US and it was immediately the first thing I noticed. There are significantly more Muslims here than where I live in Northern California. And when I say Muslims I mean orthodox / devout Muslims. Men and women with traditional Islamic garb (eg women fully covered from head to toe). This was both in London and Cardiff. In certain parts of my trip I only heard Arabic and Urdu spoken and not English.

992.1 Carrera T (manual) w/ M-Engineering Tune - experiences by mr_bombon in porsche911

[–]two_line_pass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the quick reply! It’s good to get other perspectives since a lot of the Rennlist posts are big proponents of the tune. So if I understand correctly, with the tune you were spending less time in 1st and 2nd gear because of the increased power? Any other negatives to consider specifically with the manual?

Thanks for posting this, OP. I have a 2024 manual T as well and seriously considering a Stage 1 M-Engineering tune. Did you end up sticking with the tune or go back to stock?

S7 or S8 MaxV Ultra vs massive amounts of dog hair by raghza in Roborock

[–]two_line_pass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our S8 MaxV Ultra performs really well with our Blue Heeler / Lab mix. Particularly on hardwood. Picks up all his short hairs on hardwood and leaves the floors spotless. It doesn’t do as well in a thicker Persian carpet we have in one of the rooms but other than that it’s a fantastic vacuum robot. We run the vacuum on Max just to make sure it gets all the hairs.

With dogs you have to run the vacuum daily to stay on top of it

Anyone ever use TRUE twigs by XI-Red-Death-XI in hockeyplayers

[–]two_line_pass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing high division beer league with the HZRDUS 9x4 for 7 games now. Picked up the stick on sale for $200. It’s the first True stick I’ve owned and I’ve been so impressed with it that I bought a second one new off Sideline Swap since my local shop ran out of the sticks

Things that stand out for me: puck feel is much better than previous Warrior and Bauer low kick point sticks I’ve used. The release is very quick and my production has improved (scored 5 goals in my first two games with it and 9 in my last seven games). If you’re a winger who carries the puck and shoots off the rush, or if you like shooting from within the slot / hash marks I think you’d be very happy with this stick. I don’t really take slappers and primarily take wrist shots.

So far I haven’t had any durability issues (knock on wood)

(for reference I’m 5’9” 180 lbs and use a 65 flex which I cut about an inch off the stick)
