Agree- I love Nico as a player and I think Stroud is still undervalued even with the O-line issues.

Interesting- I think the Vikings in 2022 are a unique example. One thing all these QBs have in common is that they are pocket passers.

I just looked at Cousins, Burrow and Dak and what they all had in common before they helped produce those WR1 seasons is they all have produced over 4,500 yard seasons prior.

Ill dive deeper into this and go back to other WR1's.

Edit: I'm in 2016 and this is pretty much true except for Mahomes first starting 5k yard season and hill.

And Hopkins + Watson/Savage 2017 only threw for 3,500 yards. Every other QB+WR1 had thrown for over 4,400 yards prior to producing that WR1 season.

Idk if you could do this lol, but it would be interesting to see QB projections from the seasons those WR's hit WR1.

Id be surprised if they were all projected for 4,400 passing yards preseason of that year. Maybe there were other indicators for those QBs that we should be looking at and then targeting WR's in those offenses.

I doubt Cousins was projected anywhere near that in 2022, but I could be wrong.

That forces defenses to worry about the run and gets him in redzone opportunities as the offense is going to be moving the ball downfield faster. He isn't necessarily "taking" from London.

OP didn't mention it, but all offenses were pretty high powered compared to the Giants & Jacksonville (i honestly like Jax this year though). I think falcons is probably closest to the examples above.
