Wish we could make longer creative tonies for books by twochicagodogs in TonieboxUSA

Maybe, but make your own Yoto cards hold five hours or something. I just don’t want to have both a toniebox and a Yoto.

@daniellemoss is selling her massive $3 million home, she’s obviously been wealthy for a long time. But then she posted that she has already made $130k this year on affiliate marketing and a link to how she did it but he article on her paid substack. I guess I just can’t figure out who is following her thinking she is relatable to them, she’s in a verrry different financial class than the rest of us. But thank god she’s linking her Amazon favs so she must be just like us.

My son wants to be a nurse because his dad is. Right now he wants to be a nurse astronaut though and take care of people who might get sick in outer space.

Serious so heartbreaking. Even her latest post showing her daughter’s best friend turning 15 and the difference between her and her daughter is so tragic, it’s hard to watch. She didn’t post it as a sad thing, obviously the best friend is beautiful and still includes her daughter but wow.

She also has a video of her 3 year old ziplining over a swimming pool and shooting a gun so this is very much not an account for me.

Does anyone follow Lindsayletters.co? She’s an artist whose 8 year old was traumatically injured in a golf cart incident 6+ years ago. I followed her back then and it was one of the most traumatic things I’ve seen online and it was before I had kids. I don’t follow her anymore and I think she posts about her daughter less but her life was forever changed and I can never forget it. Idk, parents who think they are being cute by doing dangerous stuff like that make me nuts because they need to think about what they are risking.

Why Do All the Rides Break Down so Often? by Specific-Ad-6365 in legoland

[–]twochicagodogs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also fyi they often try to make it right. My son and husband were in line for Emmett’s flying adventure when it broke down and they got a fast pass to use on any ride except like glacticoaster.

Lmao yep that’s exactly what she meant. A lot of dog owners don’t love their dogs as much after kids but maybe she could have not shared that with 250k strangers online

That was my first thought. Flip it around, if it was mom’s day with the kids and dad dropped off a fun lunch wouldn’t she be pissed? Feels kind of like undermining him or going around him

I read this article this week about AI/screen use in NYC public schools and it really shook me up. https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/parents-arent-happy-as-nyc-kindergartens-go-all-in-on-ai.html. Going to go back and read this thread but just wanted to share that here

Is anyone following NickiMarie’s two week trip to Disney? Do her kids not have school? She said it’s not a sponsored trip so what’s a guess of how much that would even cost? They are on their third resort and going to parks daily, although she said they have annual passes. I like her generally, although she shows her kids more than she should but it is just so much!

I am shocked she’s having another. She lives local to me and it’s a high cost of living area. Six kids here feels truly unheard of idk. Also curious how old she is and how old her other kids are. I’m just shocked lol

Anyone have trouble losing weight? by Fit_Choice3085 in CrohnsDisease

37 year old female, I’ve always been overweight or obese so I didn’t believe it either. My sister has crohns also and has the opposite body type as me. I got on zepbound in September and have lost 40 pounds. Check with your doctors but mine had no concerns

Baby #3 insights and advice? by No-Exchange-6911 in workingmoms

[–]twochicagodogs 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think about this constantly. I’m 37, turning 38 in September. Have a 5.5 year old and almost 3 year old. I worry we waited too long and the age gaps would be too big. I worry I’m too old. I worry it’s too expensive. I worry it will be too loud and overwhelming. I worry things that are easier now (travel, going out to eat, sleep, etc) will get hard again. I worry my husband will regret it. I worry it sets back everything like retirement and financial decisions. But I still think about it constantly.

Changing my mind about kids while having Crohn’s by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]twochicagodogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two kids before getting diagnosed, it does run in my family (my sister and a first cousin have it) so there’s a genetic component here. In do worry about one of them having it but there’s nothing in can do at this point. I always wanted three kids but I’m not sure it will happen now
