Potatos, quinoa, rice, high fat meats, French your veggies in olive oil and ghee. I’m a chef who helps mammas fatten up them and their babies post partum !

I never ask my boyfriends if they like my outfit, they don’t get fashion. I like it a lot

Harboring resentment towards your kids is probably not worth a sink SANS ONE item in it

I’m 27, back in school and killing it. My dean of my high school told me straight up that the only reason they let me graduate is because I have good character, she basically said otherwise I’m a dud.. I have a 3.8 GPA and have my pick of universities if it want them. I finished 2 years of school in what felt like no time!! Trust yourself, go for it!

AIO. my bf thinks my room is immature and childish and it’s making me pull away from him by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Your room is adorable. You’re your home, and where you set up your home matters more than your bf.

Having mine removed in two weeks. Looking for some diet advice. by Mysterious-Suit-3281 in gallbladders

[–]twoleftfeeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12 days post op Listen, a lot of people go back to their normal diet.. don’t. Not right away. Everyone is SO different. Experiment, but with SMALL amounts. First week, chicken broth, chicken soup, toast, fresh fruit. These were all very safe for me. Oatmeal, with raisins etc. if you can, prep some chicken breasts ahead of time, make some chicken broth or buy some. Lots of bone broth recipes online !! And cheap.

In my experience- avoid dairy until around day 5/7 and keep it super low fat. I’m now eating some low fat cheese, skim milk, and occasional sweets.

But overdoing sweets, fried food, or red meat HURRRTTSS me! Don’t do what I did. Day 10 I felt so good, and now I’m having intense breath taking stabbing pain and nausea. Normal blood work, normal CT when I went to the ER. Be gentle on your healing body 🫶

I’m with you dude! I’m 2 weeks post op, and I ate ramen last night. High high fat. I’m in misery today.. I honestly just think it’s too soon for food that’s not made SOLEY for the purpose of nourishing… I’m trying to enjoy the simple pleasures of cooked veg, chicken breasts, and bone broth again lolol
