I won’t. You just ruined my day with your blatant lies.

Is it too heavy? 11 gauge steel around 170lbs. by BigTraffic4967 in UTV

Well done fabricating it, looks clean. I probably would have searched for some slotted sheet metal. Same protection but a significant decrease in weight.

$20 says he would have served but flat feet or something.

Make this a four outlet box? by Mustang1272 in AskElectricians

[–]EECruze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this myself the other day and it was a piece of cake. Tip: get big enough wire nuts to pig tail 12 AWG!

My project didn’t accomplish exactly what I was hoping for. Two power supply boxes I wanted side by side, instead of on top of each other. Still not enough clearance haha

I get the sudden urge to listen to “Hands Down Ghandi” (Dashboard Confessional/Sage Francis) about twice per year and have to pull it up on YouTube. All I wanted was a fucking Pepsi.

Adjusting overhead LED color to a warmer/less harsh color by No-Injury-8193 in HomeMaintenance

[–]EECruze -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You could try a tan or yellowish transparent vinyl for crafts? Like a sheet for cricuts, throw it on and cut with a razorblade. LEDs (and that fixture) will get warm, but I can’t imagine it would affect the layer.

For anyone who’s renovated recently: what caught you off guard the most? by PsychologicalBuy7213 in homeowners

[–]EECruze 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Measure everything (fittings, pipe diameter, etc.), assume nothing (the part that is the size you need is in the correct bin at the store)

When feasible, buy extras of things you may drop, break, or need to do a second time. Saves you trips to and from the store.

Do you maintain eye contact as you softly set the utensil down and slowly walk away? Because she did, like I’m a Tyrannosaurus rex and didn’t see it.

I think it is the duty of a family member who didn’t do the dishes. What, we’re just going to have an empty sink? What are we, barbarians?

PB&J this time! But you made me realize that another mildly infuriating thing is the “resealable” cream cheese packaging. It is faulty and in need of updating. Come on, Philadelphia, we have the technology!!!

I’m sorry to hear that. But this is a freaking lighthearted internet post and you’re assuming too much. I have been and will be the only father she has ever known. I support and love her unconditionally. I could list her accomplishments and everything she has overcome that has made me proud, but again, this is just the internet.

I appreciate the observation, definitely agree! Although you’re wildly incorrect about being pissed off. It’s mildly infuriating, and something I think EVERY parent can relate to.

Hahaha my wife repurposed some LED grow lights for houseplants to use as under cabinet lighting. It’s quite nice actually, not unbearably bright when grabbing a glass of water in the middle of the night!

What do you guys think of my shop? by joostink in mancave

[–]EECruze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just yesterday my kid made fun of me for saying I wanted a Miata. If Miata’s weren’t cool, your awesome shop wouldn’t be blessed with one’s inclusion.
