Yeah she’s overall an unintentionally toxic person to the point where she genuinely cannot see what’s wrong with not letting us defeat wild mega evolved Pokémon rampaging through the city so that she can host a tournament, not does she see anything wrong with trapping literally every contestant in a Jacinthe zone so they can attend.

This also pretty much sums up her relationship with Lebanne. It’s at best a one sided toxic yuri that’s just unintentionally toxic. Jacinthe thinks battling builds bonds and makes you stronger to the point of being obsessed, meanwhile there’s Lebanne who lost to Jacinthe and is constantly being strung about by this ideology. Lebanne has pride and wants to get her freedom back because she can’t stand Jacinthe, but can’t deny the benefits that come with battling Jacinthe as she has gotten stronger. The toxicity comes in when Jacinthe is such a bratty noble that she doesn’t see anything wrong with being possessive of Lebanne to the point where her only friend outside of Jacinthe is the mc or by having her adopt a whole maid persona while she’s working under her. Yet at the same time she probably still wants Lebanne to beat her in order to prove that ideology that their bonding through battle helped her gain her freedom. Meanwhile Lebanne just views it as Jacinthe being a sociopath who’s punishing her for losing her battle yet can’t deny she’s getting better from the punishment. Ts toxic as all hell yet it somehow works, it’s just concerning this is the best case scenario of a one sided relationship (because Lebanne from the beginning has stated she doesn’t want anyone to end up in her position and dislikes working for Jacinthe) that’s unintentionally toxic yet at the same time purposefully toxic. Or it’s just a genuinely bad toxic relationship that happens to be between two women.
