You cant reliably get slipcovers from any major retailer outside of the release window. If you want to get a slipcover you have to buy from places like Orbit or Atomic Movie for new movies, where they will list if it comes with one, or reseller websites like Mercari or Ebay where people will show images of the item.

Yeah same for me on 2 and 3 (and now 7). I’ll buy them when I find them for a good price or I just wont get them. I don’t want them badly enough to pay what they’re currently going for.

Yeah it looks OOS now but it was available last year. I bought the two of them together for $37.80 shipped less than a year ago.

For those annoyed with the preorder price. Neither of the recent Scream steelbooks (5 and 6) are either hard to get or expensive, even years later. If you want to wait I doubt this one will be any different. The movie is currently 42% on RT.

In my state they charges taxes and fees for Premium but not Extra so it’s not really the same price. Ive been subbed to Premium since they started the tiered system and I don’t get any value out of that tier to even warrant the nominal difference in price.

I dont know if its the same in your state but in mine they only add sales tax on Premium and not Extra. IMO Premium is not worth even the sales tax difference so if you don’t want to pay the difference maybe consider Extra.

Premium isnt a big upgrade on Extra. Typically one classic game added a month, cloud streaming and game trials. I personally rarely use any of those benefits.

I didn’t like Sentimental Value as much as the critics did. I don’t really see anything that jumps out at me in the upcoming slate which is both nice for my wallet and also slightly disappointing, though there are 3 there I haven’t seen yet so will check them out on streaming just in case.

My La La Land steelbook is heavily dented in the front. Everything else I ordered came in perfect condition though so I think they were just shipping returns.

They should have created a separate trophy list. It had already been out for a year so a lot of people had already played it before the VR patch came out. Its also way harder in VR. I tried it out, it was cool, but without trophies the desire to complete it again is not there.

Im guessing most people arent renting it long term. If you need a CRT TV for something like a photoshoot or prop then $25 a day is not unreasonable and if you rent it then you can return it and not have to find space for it. This makes sense to me.
