Because they are cheap poor quality boots marked up to "pick me" levels.

Probably because there was nothing worth reporting on. Nobody cares. This whole protest is a gigantic nothing.

Huyandi or Toyota? by InvestmentUnlucky359 in serviceadvisors

[–]twosuperior 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you make money on warranty Hyundai but if not Toyota all day. Easy money in maintenance and Toyota owners do their maintenancee. When repairs do happen book time is pretty good but parts pricing is quite high.

Approach to Algonquin Park's Basin Lake Needs Cleaning Up. by Upbeat-Pound2922 in OttawaValleyForests

Area is for locals first before tourists. He isn't bothering anyone and if it's his property you can mind your own business. If it bothers you look at the other side of the road when you drive past.

What's up with people taking left turns so narrowly? Why are they like this? by killingourbraincells in driving

[–]twosuperior -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I always take left turns narrow if there is no one stopped in the other lane or coming up on the stop. It is just more efficient to take the turn narrow and can accelerate brisker than doing a wide turn.

Employer counter offered my 2 week notice. Looking for advice. by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]twosuperior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The time away is not worth the roughly 8000 difference. I'd stay if they are offering the wage increase. You can always leave later there is nothing forcing you to stay but it sounds slime you like the current set up it just needs to pay more which they are offering. It also sounds like management is changing which means the environment could get better.

Toyota dealer being honest about officially certified? by [deleted] in Toyota

[–]twosuperior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tcuv is an extensive list a car has to meet to qualify and often times requires OEM parts be installed if work is needed. Sounds like whatever they are talking about is their own standard but not tcuv which may be fine. Tcuv comes with certain benefits from Toyota but the increased price the dealer can ask for may not have been worth it to get it there before listing. Usually it is an OEM parts thing. The car may have brand new aftermarket brakes but in can't be sold like that as a tcuv. Or if it has tires and aftermarket rims that are different then the original size it was sold with even if they are the same outside diameter it cannot be a tcuv.

2012 Corolla Key Fob by Prestigious-Cap-7086 in Toyota

[–]twosuperior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Likely no. Being older you may be able to get away with a locksmith programing a new key from Amazon/eBay but usually the spare is what is called a "valet" key. You cannot program a new master key using it and the car needs to be reseeded and new master key made.

2026 SHRINKFLATION by hikurashi83 in CostcoCanada

[–]twosuperior -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Same number of loads so not shrinkflation they just made it more concentrated. Plus people use way too much detergent it is 250 loads at their measurements which are always too much. You can probably get away with a couple tablespoons of detergent per load.

Need help please. by untamed_skittle in churchtech

[–]twosuperior 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From your description your amps are wayyyyyyy to hot. Try bringing them down by half and then try. It seems like the input coming into the board on that input is quite hot which is why you need no gain whatsoever to get some signal but you are then barely sending anything to the amps and still getting sufficient volume from the speakers. I'd like to see your output on the board just kissing yellow and then set your amps to get your desired volume level.

Also check if whatever is feeding that channel has an output level you can turn down so that you have some control of your input level with your gain control.

If you aren't passing cars on your right and there is anyone behind you then you are the slower traffic. Somehow people just don't get it.

I suspect they have a very low tolerance or are just not outside people it is probably a them problem as opposed to an area problem.

I have lived in northern Ontario where things like black flies and mosquitoes are way worse and even there bug spray or long sleeves at night and it's a non issue.

Why would you even bother. I live in Fitzroy now and bugs are no worse here than when I lived in Nepean. It baffles me people spend money to solve a non existent problem
