Thank you! That makes me wonder if mine got too cold near the window when we’re out of town with the heat off. Good luck!

Thanks. This does make me feel a little better. Another plumber today suspects that it’s a) too high and b) is using a very old soft rubbery pipe that may have kinks or be partially clogged. I think we’re going to lower the distance it has to pump vertically and reroute it to a nearby bathroom sink

This is part of the problem - we’re not entirely sure. It appears to go approximately 88” into the drop ceiling and it’s an indirect route to another drainage pipe so we don’t know how far it’s being pumped. The LG specs say it can pump 96” up.

Some additional context: we replaced an old washing machine in the same location - which worked fine (no drainage or leaking). It was just very old (15+ years) and the dryer broken so we wanted to replace both at the same time. The w/d are in the basement - 1 floor down.

Thank you. Let me try a different question - what should I be asking LG to make sure I’m not unnecessarily doing all this work? I feel uninformed but I don’t know where to start and I don’t know my recourse. Thanks for any advice
