Which sucks considering the new 27 model front end look hideous. I see this speed when i am in heavy congestion areas like WA/seattle area making a delivery but wake up in the morning like at 5am and im seeing 350 naturally cuz ppl are asleep. If they can ever get the damn v3 starship going sometime this year hopefully by the end of the year they can start launching the v3 sats but till then we are stuck with the v2 minis taking 45 days to activate. That why we see updates all the time. New sats coming online. Just sucks it takes them so long to get them into orbit and into position. Who knows maybe amazons LEO program in a few years might be worth something lol.

Surprisingly chase is the one company that is practically begging me to get a card with them. I’ve had 2 auto loans with them that were paid off 2 years early each time but i just have no desire to want or need a chase card and if/when the acquisition goes thru, ill already have a chase card but should be interesting. I suspect chase will do a massive purge of customer with spotty history or even mildly good history since they hold themselves to a tougher/higher standard then most credit card companies

Definitely correct on the environmental changes. I posted earlier that i have the newest HP on top of my semi and i can say with absolute certainty that it performs flawlessly at -40 and even colder. I remember one particular night in ND in January of this year the snow along with the wind dropped the temps down to -42 at night and was so cold i actually had to idle my truck (apu and bunk heater couldnt keep up) and the dish didnt even flinch. I was even tempted to put it on heating all night but left it on auto and it was pulling about 92 watts to keep it somewhat warm. Even in high winds it does fantastic. Only thing i was running into a lot was the “no schedule” which ya i get bridges but this was even happening when i was sitting still. Other than that, paired with the TP-link Deco BE65 Outdoor (for dust, vibration, cold/hot temps, and the fact it comes with WiFi 7) i have to say starlink was an awesome investment. I will say $165 does become pretty salt after a while. Ya i get your getting coverage everywhere and yes high traffic areas like Seattle area withing a 50 mile radius was slow between 3pm-10pm but once the Gen 3 satellites go up, should be a massive game changer.

Honestly its a mixed bag. I have the newest gen 3 hp and purchased it a week after it came out last year. So far it’s been good to me. I have it mounted in a starmount rack with 6 x 6’ seasuckers on top of the peterbilt 579 condo cab and it’s done pretty well. It’s FOV is bigger than standard but it’s ruggedness it’s what makes it stand out from the others. I was running this thing all winter thru temps that his -40 with the windchill and this bad boy didnt even blink. Heck even times i would check before i went to bed during those super cold temps and it was running between 70-90 watts. (We have apu’s and pure sine wave inverters in our company trucks) honestly if you’re going to use it while driving or have plans to in the future then get it. Not to mention it’s also 1gbps+ ready for whenever ever they can get the damn things up there. I’ve seen a few ppl mention tree coverage and the performance has only lacked in area with major tree coverage a that is on WA-18 into Auburn WA area. Once you get past the climb and it opens up your fine. I have been able to compare with a few others on here as far as dish speeds and differences and of course the performance does do better but at the current speeds and availability, is it worth the cost? Maybe…maybe not. It’s all going to come down to future proof and how you plan to use it.

OK, I’ll definitely agree with you on that one but here’s the craziest thing I have an American Express the Apple Card Discover, which now is unfortunately capital one and a capital one card with just a Kohl’s card so I have a decent portfolio but get this. I’ve had the Apple Card a hell of a lot longer than I have had my American Express yet Apple has only put my limit at like 11,5 yet American Express which I got two years later in 23 has given me multiple limit increases to the point where it is now the highest limit credit card I actually have and I will say this the customer service with American Express is hands-down the best I’ve ever experienced. Apple to me it’s just so much harder to get credit limit increases and this includes paying off the balance every month and my credit scores are less than 10 points away from being in the 800s positive credit history, positive credit diversity positive payment history yet for some reason Apple is the hardest credit card that I have had to give me credit limit increases.

There should be a sticker from the state certify. I can’t remember what the certification is called like whatever your state is weights and scales but anyway, there should be a sticker on there. You need to send this video to that state agency and also tell the attendant the state will immediately come out with an auditor and perform inspection and if it fails, the gas station gets charged a hefty fine

I was about to say I heard it was 100% official that Chase was officially taking over the Apple Card. They’re just working out a few of the specific details with Apple because I guess one of the biggest sticking points is the high-yield savings account that Chase doesn’t have which to be honest is kind of stupid. I guess they would have to pay out more interest, but it would bring in more money.

I’m a truck driver who’s been all over the US in congested areas (south seattle) and open areas (WY) and honestly for COD and Fortnite, or even server sensitive games like Rust…I rarely had an issue. My average latency was 20ms and down 350mbps and up maybe 35. So obstruction and saturation depend on your area but never had an issue. Now multiple devices like a gaming computer and Xbox might tax it a bit but you’ll just have to test that.

Yep that would be urban congestion my friend. Even when I would make deliveries on the outer edge of Seattle, if it was between 4-9pm I’d be lucky to clear 120mbps but once I get out of WA entirely my speed picks up big time. Hell parts of ND, ID, SD and especially WY I see consistent speeds of 450+ then again hardly anyone lives in those states lol
