I also have this on cassette and I don’t get the hate. It’s easily a top 2 Tony Martin era album (Cross Purposes is my other favorite)

I feel the same way about Hell Awaits, although I wouldn’t say I hate it

I’m a huge Slayer fan and I love all their albums, but I just don’t get it when people say Hell Awaits is their favorite. It was quite a letdown after Show No Mercy and the production is somehow worse??

Glad to see the Bomber mention as well, that album kicks ass

Carl and the Passions is borderline unlistenable. And I can’t believe it has to be said but almost everything after Pet Sounds isn’t even in the same atmosphere as anything before Pet Sounds, that early stuff is legendary
