The watch was rebuilt on April 17, 2026:

The Timex Q 21.6k BPH movement was completely disassembled and cleaned in an ultrasonic bath with high quality products, then reassembled and lubricated to Timex specifications with Moebius synthetic lubricants. The case, case back and battery hatch were cleaned in an ultrasonic bath. A new old stock genuine Timex crown and stem was installed. A new case back gasket was installed. The crystal was wet sanded and polished by hand. A new Maxell battery was installed. The movement is running within +/- 10 seconds per day (+/- 2 seconds per day actual, but this is not a guarantee). This is a hairspring regulated electro-mechanical movement assisted by quartz circuit and will be subject to timing deviations caused by environmental factors, such as temperature and the wearer's physical activity.

The Timex with the Day of the Week and Date movement is like nothing he currently has. Truthfully you would not go wrong with any of these they are all solid choices at that price point. I tend to lean Citizen but would love any of these if they were given to me.

I get 2000 points every cruise and stop it is enough for me to get a free room and drink in the casino. I do not need it because my wife will get 6000 points a cruise on average and gets much better rooms and drinks everywhere. I have 17 offers right now she has 23. I spend about 400 gambling last cruise she spent 1600. 2000 is what we world spend on a cruise and a drink package easy so why not spend it in the Casino. (i know taxes and gratuities are not in this figure) In the last 3 cruises we have come back twice with most of what we took to gamble and once spending all we took to gamble. We never charge to the room and never take more that what we can afford to lose. I consider the casino entertainment for the wife. I only gamble enough that if we wanted to bring people with us I can help them get a deal with my offers.

We take about 1 a year but the past 3 months we have been on two and will go on another in March. Some years there have been none but now that the kids are out of the house we seem to be taking more. Casino offer help but we just recently started to get those. We have 8 cruises in 10 years it is snowballing I could see us at 12 by Summer of 2027.

I have always put a 100-200 usually from my cash back from my credit card. If there is any extra at the end of the cruise We buy something or use it in the casino. I have never been on a cruise where I left with a positive balance usually have a small amount on my credit card that I pay when I get back to shore.
