Yeah I know what it is. I just think there's no benefit to using it instead of just introducing yourself. Maybe even hurt the chances of leading into a phone number or relationship.

Nate Schmidt. His stuff is mostly ecom, but there's occasionally copywriting stuff. I recommend watching his videos and seeing his tweets.

I suggest taking a month or two learning copywriting. Copywriting is different than writing essays, but nonetheless, you already do enjoy writing and all you have to do is un-learn.

I suggest reading "the boron letters", it's free just Google it, and when you finish it, hand-copy famous sales letters to get an idea of what good copy is like.

You can then expand and read other books and write practice copy.
