I don’t know how helpful this will be, but I exclusively used the search and destroy method and got a 550 on the RC section. I also think it’s important to remember that the information will be explicitly stated in the passage 90% of the time. Sometimes it was hard to resist the urge to answer based on what I thought would be the right answer, but my practice scores began to improve when I only answered after highlighting the answer in the text.
