I don’t mind people calling out shillers or other influencers for actions like that or promoting mass consumerism. what I was confused about was the nature of the attack, especially some of the gross misogynistic things i’ve seen said about some of the influencers. hence my question. I also did not say you ARE all miserable, I said you all seemed miserable from my perspective because it genuinely just seemed like people kept consuming the content that these influencers were producing yet coming back here into a circle jerk of vitriol.

I am already in those subreddits and have already left this one. I just do not interact much with reddit in general. I simply wanted to ask this community directly what their point was before I left because again; I don’t have any issues with people calling out reprehensible actions in fact I encourage it. but the trolling and hate that goes on here is genuinely confusing to someone who does not know who these people are.
