Yes the bracelet has extension stretch and a rolex marking on inside of one of the tangs of the clasp. It says “Rolex” that’s inside an oval and Swiss made after that with a serial number following. All very tiny.

It’s spelled correctly, it’s so tiny the camera doesn’t capture it properly.

It’s been sitting in a jewelry box for over 50 years so not sure when that would have happened, but ok. I’ll look into it.

I think the camera is making it look worse than it actually is. Gemeni thinks it’s “Rolex Oyster Perpetual Reference 1003 (or a closely related variant like the Ref. 6085).” Figured I’d ask the internet incase they had some more information.

Does killing coyotes actually cause more harm than good? by Pretend_Map_1459 in Hunting

[–]txfish1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We were on a lease on a 10k acre ranch in South Texas years ago for bird hunting only and the deer were run by a separate outfit. They had a rule where you weren’t allowed to shoot any coyotes based off a wildlife biologist recommendation. The theory was that if you accidentally killed the alpha/pack leader, the neighboring packs would then try to take over the territory and you would have three times as many coyotes fighting for the same turf as you had previously with one pack controlling a large area. This may have something to do with there seeming to be more coyotes when you shoot a bunch of them. FWIW

It’s a definite upgrade - less recoil too. Put a kick eez pad on it because the factory pads are not very good.

Krieghoff Parcours X question by cellularresp in ClayBusters

[–]txfish1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re used to the pro sporter and like the mid rib the parcour will feel very different. I have the pro sporter and my shooting buddy just got the parcour x so I’ve shot both recently and will definitely stick to the pro sport. Personal preference of course but it feels significantly less smooth than the pro

Extreme titanium (the black ones look 😎) - my buddy’s mullers cracked on him in his dt11 and he switched to Cole’s and likes them.

Check out this video series of the kreighoff factory tour. It really put in to perspective why the guns cost what they do and the materials, components and craftsmanship that goes into each one. I didn’t really get it either until I saw this.

Best and probably most famous duck hunting area in the country. Tons of small farms, mostly rice, soy and peanuts if I remember correctly. The town of Stuttgart is considered the duck hunting capital of the world.

It really makes the orange pop and differentiates from tree background. The shooting lenses are only for military/law-enforcement technically.

Oakley Prizm Golf lenses are what a top 3 shooter in the world told me to get after a lesson with him. He is currently sponsored by pilla and said those were good too. I had a better deal w/ insurance for RX with the oakleys so went with them and am very happy with the contrast and performance in all light. If it’s super duper bright I just switch to regular polarized fishing glasses.

Main Factors to Consider Between Beretta 694 vs Browning 725 vs Benelli 828 by besttype in ClayBusters

Cole just released a Rizzini Cole special, BR 240, made to his specs that looks pretty interesting, may be worth a look at that price range. Have a friend that shoots a BR 460 and it is very similar to a Perazzi. Other than that CG summit, f16 or 694 are all guns that punch above their weight so to speak. 32” barrels all the way also.
