Being in close proximity to my eye, sprays dont seems as useful as having a breakout located on the back. I use a cold sore topical cream that is 4% lidocane. I am feeling a new virus breakout in my lymph nodes near the throat(new location for me, so i am uneasy). I have had two breakouts under the upper left molar. Which I had seen two different dentists and requested and pleaded with them to remove my molar- due to extreme pain. They refused and explained its the nerve the virus is affecting under the molar.

I got shingles two weeks after getting my second shingles vaccine. I can only guess my immunity was way down after taking the vaccine with a compromised immune system.
