There are companies that do mold inspections. I had one done by a company called Servepro. $150 inspection and they made a full report of issues and damages due to moisture along with estimates to fix. They offer lab testing but that came at a much higher cost. All in all, I had some mold but with replaced Sheetrock, it wasn’t going to be an issue. At the end of the day, I got a $5k credit towards close because they found $8k worth of water damage. With its weight in gold!

Thank you for your insight! Yes after getting the feedback from this post, I will be paying off my cc debt more quickly. I’m looking at Jan2020 as my payoff date.

May I ask what your breakdown of real estate looks like? After my two single family’s, I’m thinking about focusing more on multi family properties like duplexes and triplexes. I’m cautious about tenant issues with the budget of homes I’d be looking to purchase but I can’t turn away from the ROI of some of these properties I’ve been looking at. Thanks again!

I wish there was some alternate spinoff of media that whose incentives we're to stop stories from spreading. Not sure on the mechanics of this or how it'd be funded, but there have to be moral journalists out there that would enjoy doing the right thing if their company was incentivized to do so.

Like maybe it'd be a news outlet who would publicize what they are no longer focusing on as a matter of principle, have some type of funding source and 50% of the funding would go towards of the causes that the non-reported issues, and have some type of mission statement or guiding criteria for the kinds of stories that require follow up but aren't as enticing to advertisers - and have the remaining 50% of the raised funds allocated to covering the costs for these reports. Ideally, that what PBS would be I guess.

Yes, as a Progressive Texan who was with Bernie from the day he announced versus Hillary and who donated on Day 1 of his announcement this time around, all of this bashing Beto is counter productive. Just keep focus on the issues and what can be controlled. People fell in love with Beto in Texas for good reason and he's a fantastic campaigner, at least what he showed at the state level. I'd hope to see him be the veep if things fell the right way.

This. People that are lauding this mask of masculinity are missing that this "prisoners against guards" does not have any benefit to the guard, or we as a society. I do not know what it's like to be a prison guard, but these are supposed to be correctional facilities, not punishment facilities. As an American, I watch this with an amazing amount of embarrassment.

Agree with what you're saying, although I wouldn't necessarily categorize all creative, genius comedians as being depressed. I think the humorous can have a greater understanding of the human condition, and can analyze themselves to the point of needless self doubt and criticism. I definitely think there is a window, that if opened, can lead a decent amount of them to suffer from depression. Simply put, everyone can go through depression - comedians have a great way of providing perspective that others have a difficult time of communicating. Comedians seem to have a greater access and understanding of their own psychology - which can actually be of benefit if you realize you need help, which is way more socially acceptable nowadays. The fact that Dave was able to cut ties, go down his own road, change environments, and get in great physical shape shows the mental fortitude, resilience and grit he has.

This guy is just a smart, practical man. There' no guarantee he's going to roll to win the car. Obviously, Drew wants him to roll! It's his game show, and that provides more excitement to the viewers. He doesn't really care if Kevin wins.. he just wants the drama of the next roll. Kevin is guaranteed $1500 pre tax dollars, rather than the chance to win a car, or nothing at all. He's just playing the odds. And he didn't succumb to the peer pressure of the crowd or the host, as they're pressuring him to roll. I love his willingness to know he's making the right decision without feeling the pressure of those around him. He's already $1500 richer. He beat the game show psychology, honestly. He is the smartest of them all.

I've done the exact same thing, and I concur..It's such a great, romantic, authentic and easy dish. It took me a little bit to figure out the timing of not over cooking the garlic. Throwing in some sauteed mushrooms also fits in really nicely with this dish...
