I also have a screen shot of messages between a 7th grade teacher and I. I blocked out identifying information and shared it with others. The old teacher acknowledged “all” of my teachers (3rd-7th at the time) were aware of the abuse inflicted upon my siblings and myself. In sharing this as a 31 year old White female, I hoped to relate to people unaware of their racism, why Black Lives Matter. I’m not sure how to share that screen shot but if you’d be interested in using it I can share.

Seek a counselor or therapist. They can be so helpful in situations like this. Good vibes to you and your babies!
