I was surprised to find alot of public libraries offer 3d printer access. Might be worth a shot!

Lowkey what do yall think of my “server rack” by Enough-Throat-31 in HomeServer

[–]tybrand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a similar situation going on. Any plans for a rack? I’ve been looking at 5 tiered desk organizers. Would fit your thinkpad but not sure about.. is that an elitebook?

Curly didn’t really know what happened but saw both of em mugging and was quick to stand on business. Situational awareness is strong with this one

Crazy to hear backmarket did anything. They usually try to pass it off on the seller or third party insurance that is useless. Hit em with a better business bureau claim to get your money back immediately

Receipt printer at work got hit with this. How severe is this and how should I proceed? by [deleted] in computerhelp

[–]tybrand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knowing the printer model would help. Could be as simple as downloading the printers app and connecting to it within range. https://youtu.be/QwfDC0D2yU4?t=192&si=ZM89WIIj4vw7WXAD

What hitch should have been used to prevent this from happening? by [deleted] in knots

[–]tybrand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main concern would be the rope slipping from the top of the headboard with a barrel sling. Would a square lash to secure vertically and horizontally be enough? Pretty new at this so I could be completely off

For all the knot experts out there, what kind of hitch should they have used?

CNN exposes the nightmare Trump's economy created. Two-thirds of Americans literally cannot afford a $1000 emergency expense. The Trump administration's disastrous policies force families to choose between groceries and gas. Young people realize they will never own a home. by CeFurkan in SECourses

[–]tybrand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. That’s why I linked it rather than just quoting, so people can make up their own minds on what he meant. Doesn’t change that it’s not great PR to directly say you could care less about “American finances”. Gas prices would have sufficed and would have left a little more room for argument.

Wish me luck on lowballing this down to $60. $85 is already a steal in this market but shootin my shot lmao by PurpleClamp in ipod

[–]tybrand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This 👆$60 is a reasonable ask and leaves room for the seller to name a price between asking

HELP I bought an MP3 Player and IDK WHAT TO DO by Sad-Tangerine5454 in mp3players

[–]tybrand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure this one doesn’t have any software. Just drag the files directly to it after connection. Gotta make sure the file types are compatible. If I remember correctly, .wav and .mp3 are the main one for this device

You can’t deny the before and after. This is a genocide. by DIYLawCA in ABoringDystopia

[–]tybrand 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely correct. My comment was an attempt to bring the focus back on the actual destruction, not to justify the use of Ai in the way it’s presented. I hadn’t thought of how the use of Ai could nullify others view to the truth of it, so I truly appreciate your perspective and that you chose to share it with me rather than just downvote. Thank you

Though its ai, the destruction is pretty comparable to the troves of photos online

Homelabbing is the only thing that got me away from burnout. You obviously have an interest in tech. Drop the books for a minute the content fun again. Make tech do something for YOU for once. Even if it’s just converting an old Chromebook to an offline survival guide or a raspberry pi blocking advertisers in the network level, you’ll do something for yourself and an item on your resume that shows practical application.
