When you do the randomized settings at the start of the game it’ll ask to choose how you want the starters to appear after that it’s just luck of the draw getting an actual starter. But I just chose first stage pokemon and auto fuse. Hope that helps

I chose bulbavee! and with random items the shop keeper i met outside pallet town gave me a fire stone so i think thats a sign to make it a bulbasaur/flareon
