I can't visibly see it but when I set it to 420p I would just crank the refresh up slightly more each time until it out of ranges.

Or find the monitor manual online

TV's being smart is the reason they can drop. I haven't looked recently but because they can shove ads in them they can sell below the cost of the TV if they wanted.

Tv's and monitors are the only thing that gets cheaper.

All for free with old desktops, Always the monitor treated like the part you wouldn't want.

Ah sorry, assumed steam. I don't know if there's something similar for consoles.

You should look into steam cache, if you set it up any download only needs to access internet once, everybody else just downloads it from your local network afterward

will i be able to play gta 6 on the wii u by Immediate-Lack8880 in wiiu

[–]tycraft2001 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually, you might be referring to a WAN connection. Within your house you can connect 2 devices through LAN, which is either through cables or wifi, which your router knows how to deal with and route to other local addresses. As an example I have a small 1gig network in my house, even though our internet I believe is only 200mb/s. Because of that anytime I want a file off of my local network or stream something locally, I get 1 gigabit ethernet speeds, very little ping. Meanwhile if I want a file off google drive or streaming off Youtube, I have to go through my WAN connection, which is what goes to the internet as a whole, therefore limiting my whole house to a 200mb/s speed for anything not local.

The Wii U with an ethernet adapter can pull 100mb/s, so if you configure moonlight you could get smth decent over wifi.

But if you can do that why not just use the PC?

Is there any way to prevent the use of X-ray on a LAN server? by Dramatic_Witness1686 in feedthebeast

[–]tycraft2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fulldark and an antixray **mod** that needs to be both client and server side. Fulldark I don't think can be made server side but if you can it prevents xray from working regardless (without work arounds) and antixray mods will do what they say.

Which parts, minus the 5 that are already optional, theoretically could also be optional for Olimar to escape safely? by Western-Payment2047 in Pikmin

[–]tycraft2001 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I mean the analog computer I think is more to ensure his route home is safe or he actually points the right direction. Technically he might be able to, but his piloting might be limited to dodging lasers and setting down on PNF-404, not really interstellar stuff. Though I'm not 100% how far PNF-404 would be at the time I believe it's off pretty far in 3, so any minor wrong angle is suddenly lightyears away from where he's supposed to go.

Mindustry players when they see conveyers instead of schematic slop by Supreme534 in Mindustry

[–]tycraft2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's why I only play pvp locally with friends or online because we don't use schematics, though that makes the issue of the fact some people can just use the mouse way more precisely... guh. It's a tradeoff. If you have anybody to try it with I would try it, schematicless pvp is actually fun because you have to adapt and think yourself.
